Extremely light and water proof but...
very fragile and poor if walking through bushes or long undergrowth.

Not what they used to be
We used to purchase these from the US às you couldnt buy them in the UK, for use on our motorbike when touring Europe. We loved them. We purchased this pair from Amazon to use on my mobility scooter. (Not a motorbike accident, due to a spinal injury 30 years ado) The very first time I put them on and sat on my scooter the pants split up my backside. They are also manufactured from a completely different material, the ones we bought from America were just like decorators paper overalls and was completely waterproof and windproof, we loved them. But these I won't buy again we will buy direct from America at a premium price I think off the top my head about £70 £80 for the full set including shipping and taxes.

Wow. I mean, WOW!
I dislike walking in the rain. Rather, I dislike getting soaked. After buying a brand new coat, "tested to 10,000mm" and sold at £180 reduced to £80, I thought my problems with getting drenched are behind me. WRONG!!!! The jacket failed its first test, less than a week after buying it. That led me class myself as "a fairweather walker".Then I saw a YouTube video on budget hiking gear. He raved over this waterproof jacket and trousers set which is breathable. They arrived on the first evening of a two-day downpour, driven by heavy winds. Day two of said downpour saw me put this and the trousers to a test every bit as demanding as the much dearer "10,000mm column" jacket failed. How did Frogg Toggs suit do? WOW!My lower half remained completely dry. As for the top, well, not completely dry, due to some ingress at the collar/neck level, and around the right shoulder. Those areas dried in minutes though. And I am no longer "just" a fairweather walker. The jacket anf trousers are roomy, enabling multiple layers to be worn beneath, including a tee-shirt and a hoodie or fleece, and/or a down jacket. It is also ultra light but breathable and windproof. That said, in cold weather the heat is sapped by the cold (not the wind). You therefore will definitely need layers in winter.Frogg Toggs tame the Tempests! And less than £24, to boot! KUDOS, Frogg Toggs!!
