We are working on an eight storey block of flats replacing the external insulated cladding (post Grenfell Works).We have purchased various lanyards etc. for these works. I have already had a drill fall of my rig. This fell to the deck and would have gone down several scaffold lifts if it were not for having the lanyard fitted. These have therefore saved me the cost of a new drill and any other damage it could have caused on its way down the building other operatives or structure. Well worth the investment they are as good as any other more well known brands. I use them to fix plant such as jigsaw/woodsaw to the scaffold as well.

Realible and easy to use

I often end up dooing tree lopping and working at height so a lanyard like this is essential to ensure the saw doesn't go flying to the ground. The big advantage to these style of lanyards is that they are elasticated so if it does slip any heavy tools won't give you a heavy jolt, it's a softened stop.It's very easy to use; just loop the strap through the handle or other sturdy area, then clip the carabiner onto your harness, tool belt or any other secure sctructure.These are made from Polypropylene and Elastic so it's waterproof, rot proof and also high contrast.This does have a weight limit of 6.8kg /15lbs which is not the best. Cheap and reliable

Seem really good. Clip on one side and a tie on the other. Great risk reduction for working at heights. Perhaps not for really large tools but good for screwdriver, pliers wrench etc

Great item perfect for use on scaffold tools

Although these lanyards would work ok from a ladder to stop you dropping anything they do have a limited span of use with the way you have to secure the lanyard to the tools. When I tried them out whilst on a scaffold. I found the length was not long enough for me to use very easily depending on where a handrail was for the fixing point and relative to your point of work. Also I needed to unclip it regularly to move it past upright scaffolding poles so that negated it's safety use. Also the carabineers were quite lightweight and only had a sprung clip and not a locking gate.

Very good for heavy duty. Defienetly worth it for the price. Used for a few months in scaffolding.
