Q: Why is there dark brown hay in the box I just received my bunnies will not eat it?

Because they robbed you by filling the box with garbage that they know good and well can’t be used.. be happy you didn’t get a plethora of tree sticks like I did

Sorry Came with the Guinea that my granddaughter got. So just continued getting it. No Veterarian recommendation needed. I found it at Walmart and Amazon etc hope this helps

Mostly bigger pieces but the box I got definitely had smaller pieces and a bit of hay dust
