Dear Bibi, Thank you for your enquiry. Given each stake is approximately 16 inches long, 4 stakes connected together will give you 5.3 ft. So you can only make around 3 sets of such 4-stakes (with 3 stakes left). On the other hand, if 4ft trellis is okay for you, it would take 3 stakes connected together to reach 4ft. Hi Frederick, Thank you for your question. Yes, only 12 connectors is required to build 5 tiers. So for 1 tier, there is no need to use any connectors at all. Q: what is the recommended outdoor temperature range? I'm concerned about the cold making the plastic brittle and breaking.

I don’t have that cold of weather by me but this is not cheap plastic and is very sturdy. It can certainly handle any cold your plants can handle. I disassemble mine during the off growing season.
