Tracy Marrow and Co thrash it out
Ice-Ts first outing with metal outing Body count, as you would expect, incendiary rap with rock guitars to match. Comedic lyrics in parts, good album.

Body M*ther F*****g Count's debut album is as volatile musically as it is lyrically!
17 tracks in all, which include a few short second, spoken word comments, introduced the world to rock side of Ice T's musical psyche. Whilst this album doesn't quite hit the spectacularly unexpected peak of their most recent album 'Manslaughter,' this was their debut and cemented Body Count's deserved place in rock culture.Musically, this album is a mash of hardcore, punk, thrash and good ol' hard rock, along with Ice T's trademark sardonic wit, and shocking content. One minute Ice is hilariously bragging about how he uses a daughter of a KKK grand wizard for sex ('KKK B*tch'), the next he's lamenting the poor state of race relations and gang violence in early 1990's America ('On With the Body Count'). Whether you love or hate Ice T and the content of his lyrics, you have to admit he pulls no punches, and is brutally honest, but also tongue in cheek, e.g. 'Evil Dick.'It's hard to compare this album with new upstarts. Whilst the boom of Nu Metal produced many copy cats and Rage Against the Machine clones, no one has ever really fused gangster rap lyrics with hardcore/metal riffs like Body Count, and no one has certainly ever matched their intensity and honesty.

Awesome CD
Had this when it first appeared, lost my copy, now got it back. I was trying for vinyl format but its collectable at £200. The songs on this CD are so powerfull that I forgot all about the petit problems that seem to be in the news at the moment.A total must have for any rock/metal fan out there.

pretty crazy
Had to get a copy as it reminds me of being a teenager and my cassette is long gone. Brutal and simple, not one for a car trip with your parents
