This kit works great. My fridge water line broke at the compression fitting. Quik easy fix

We had a leaking water line to our refrigerator, with no shutoff valve along the way, so these came in really handy for me to insert a shutoff on the line, along with cutting out and repairing the hole. Everything I needed was there and I now have many extras to attach the water filter that should be arriving shortly. There have been zero leaks over the past 2 weeks, so I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Good item to keep on hand for oldstyle swamp coolers.

When received I tried the fittings on a short length of new 1/4" O.D. plastic tubing (Pex type) . Package and web description clearly indicated as being for 1/4' tubing. The sleeve was loose...(undersize), and the ferrule was oversized. Both to the extent that it could result in not making a correct watertight seal with 1/4' O.D. tubing. Got out my micrometer and measured the fittings. Found the measurements were consistent with those used on 4mm I.D. tubing / 6mm O.D. tubing. The inch and metric equivalent are close and will work 85% of the time, but it's not correct. Product worthless for my purpose...Returned. Probably should have given only 1 Star, but it was nicely packaged, the piece count was right, and it looked like it was made of quality brass.
