Not Thunderbolt 3 Compatible
I'm trying to use my X1 Gen 3 laptop with a brand new LG Thunderbolt 3 monitor and it constantly flickers. I have zero issues using the monitor with my Dell Latitude and MacBook Pro.I contacted Lenovo Support and they told me that their laptops are only certified to work with proprietary Lenovo monitors......yet they market they are compliant with the Thunderbolt 3 open standard. Super frustrating. Had I known earlier I would haven't have bought this laptop.

Good system if you can get one that works. Poor quality control.
Great keyboard, fairly fast, beautiful screen if you get the HDR model, but factory quality control is terrible. Read about the problems with flickering screen, flickering keyboard backlight, and my personal problem was a touchscreen that wouldn't stop touching itself. A $2000 laptop should have decent quality control. My suggestion if you really must have this? Make sure its from someone who has a very liberal return policy and test it like crazy for weeks after you buy it. Do all the updates and see if it dies. For me, a few updates and my touchscreen got a mind of its own.
