Ingenius non-chemical trap, I've had it for a couple months and the volume of dead insect carcasses is phenomenal (NE Georgia). Trap height where carcasses accumulate is about 4 in. deep, and had to dump 3 times so far. Good and safe in a heavy rain with high wind gusts when left plugged in (cause I was away from the house). Well worth the investment.

This really works well, i.e. if you place it a good distance from where you sit and it is not an overly lit porch area.

I keep this on our deck and plug it in during the evening and night so the light attracts the insects.I notice that almost every flying annoying bug is attracted to the blue light. There wasps, mosquitoes, flies, moths ect...in the trap. I live on an acreage so this is so helpful in eliminating these pests. It performs very well and is a good size to capture a large amount of bugs. There is a catchment at the bottom that you take off and empty the dead bugs out of. The only negative thing that I can think of is that it needs to be plugged in. The cord is short so you need a long extension cord to suspend it from a tree or building which is ideal. It seems to eliminate enough bugs sitting on a bench on the deck though. It would have been nice to have a battery operated option.I'll keep this one as it works OK on the deck where we have plug ins but will be on the hunt for a battery operated one to put on a shelter as we have several goats arriving this week.

This does an awesome job! Our last one lasted 10 years, outdoors!

This is the second time I decided to go with dynatrap to be rid of the mosquitoes in our backyard. I love that they run on a special UV light bulb that lasts if I'm correct approximately two and a half years before it has to be replaced. Not only do these lanterns look great but they really do the job. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

This product worked great for the first 10 days. Now one of the flaps is in the down position and doesn’t close at all so any bug that is sucked in can just fly right out. Very disappointed.

Looks very cheap in quality compared to previous model where you manually had to turn the lamp to turn it on. I don’t know if they got bought out by some private equity group or what, but I am returning. Instantly noticed the cheap black plastic compared to the nice painted finish of previous models. The cheap cardboard box it ships in compared to the full color one. It’s like an accountant got a hold of the company and cut out all the premium stuff.The auto close flaps, and one button release for upper and bottom hatches are great engineering improvements, as well as the easy to use on off button. However for this price I expect a better finish than cheap looking black plastic.

Easy installation and seems to be working well.
