Worked perfectly. A bit of a tight fit. Cable was too long which might be a good thing for some cars, but it just meant I had to pack it pretty tight up under the trim and cover. This was a heck of a lot easier than trying to find a switched power wire in the harness or connect to the back of lighter socket. A bit pricey for what it is, but saved me an hour or two of frustrating work up under the dash.

Works great for adding dash cam without wires showing. Could use smaller plug instead of usb type to make hiding easier.

Had a dashcam for my 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT. After spending hours trying to find a fuse slot that was not always on, I did some more digging online and found this. It connects to your powered rear view mirror. I was able to install in about 15 minutes.Save yourself time and headaches, use this to power your dashcam.

Works as it should and hides my camera wire.

Does not fit a gen 2 Chevy Cruise

EDIT: This is edit to my original review BELOW.Well, I was wrong about how much the wire was short for 21 BOLT EV. I needed something like 11" of space between the adapter and the plug.That said, after I posted original review, I was contacted by seller asking for exact length needed between the 2 plugs. I let them know the length and I was told "We will custom make one and send it to you" and even though I said "sure", wasn't really expecting much from that conversation.Yesterday, they came through and I received VERY well made adapter with extra long wire between and it fit nicely and I am finally able to put the cover back on to hide all the wiring.I REALLY appreciate the sellers who goes extra mile to make customers happy so I am changing my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. Perhaps the seller can make another product for Chevy BOLT owners with extra long wire between the plugs.----Original review below----This worked for my 21 BOLT EV (has auto dimming mirror). That said, the connectors between the connectors are VERY short and there is no way to stash the connector to the side and close the cover. If the wires were about 1.5-2" longer then we would be able to stash the adapter to the side enough to the empty cavity so that we should be able to close the cover to make it look MUCH neater.

Got it hooked up n no time but it doesn't work on my dash cam but I have another place I can charge my phone might need a better dash cam for this but it works as directed can't complain
