I love Nicky products (long-term user of their Elite 3-ply loo roll) and we have a recently-acquired cat so I was keen to try this.This is also 3-ply kitchen roll (which I'm glad about, as thinner kitchen rolls just get used up more quickly!) with a difference: it has a slight (lemon?) scent and is odour-controlled, meant for use with pets.This comes in a 6 roll pack, with 80 sheets per roll and is FSC Certified. Sofidel are also a partner of the WWF Climate Savers program (to reduce CO2 emissions).For once, the pack actually gives you more detailed specs - some kitchen / loo rolls don't these days: Sheet Size: 40 x 26.5cm*, Length: 32m*, Tolerance ± 5%".Obviously, as with all kitchen roll, don't flush it down the loo!The kitchen roll has a cute yellow "paw print" design and a subtle, pet-friendly scent. They're as tough and well-manufactured as I'd expect from Nicky. The sheets are large, probably twice the size of budget kitchen roll sheets!I've been using it under our cat's pet bowls and for clean up jobs (she brought in a bird the other day and you can imagine the mess - obviously I used disinfectant as well).She also walks in grass and can get muddy from the temperamental Highland weather (or just gets soaked - I give her a rub down with Nicky Pets kitchen roll, as best I can, before she hisses at me!). Also handy for the last wipe-down after I clean out her litter tray - I get all the fun jobs.Nicky Pets is perfect or other everyday kitchen roll jobs, too (in my case, wiping down after cleaning the air fryer, microwave, worktops, etc, etc).Only caveat is that (maybe because it's a new product) it's quite expensive at the moment, but I would recommend when on offer.PS: Our girl took time out of her busy schedule to pose next to the pack, pictured as it arrived (see photos).

Before using this roll, I had tried various methods, such as puppy pads and typical kitchen towels, to prevent pee from touching the wooden floor. In the past, I would usually mop or use a kitchen towel when my cat, who might be a bit lazy, missed her litter tray.These sturdy paper towels are helpful for cleaning my puppies' muddy paws before they enter the house, especially after walks in the park or garden. The sheets are also slightly larger, which is fantastic because our dirty dogs' slobber often remains after a big meal or drink with just one normal kitchen towel. The sheets of this Nicky pet paper towel are much bigger than standard ones and have a pleasant scent.Thanks to their high softness, these towels are perfect for cleaning and drying two-week-old baby birds after they are fed. Their delicate bodies won't get skin infections or scratches from these paper towels.Although this roll costs more than a standard kitchen roll, I have noticed I use less because the sheets are larger and more absorbent. It is also cheaper than puppy pads. The sheets have prevented any moisture from seeping onto the floor of the waterproof mat, so everything is going well so far. Additionally, cats dislike strong smells and might ignore a litter tray if exposed to them. Luckily, these sheets have only a mild aroma and haven't discouraged the cats from using their trays. These lightly scented sheets help reduce pet odours and keep our home fresh for longer, all while being gentle and safe for our pets. I also think they will be useful for cleaning floors, as the sheets are a good size, absorbent, and quite sturdy—resisting tears and rips. I would definitely buy this product again in the future.The orange little paw prints on the sheets help differentiate pet paper towels from ordinary kitchen towels and prevent mix-ups. Although it’s more expensive, I would recommend it over the standard Nicky Pets paper towels and would purchase it again because of its practicality.

I am pleased to have the chance to review a pack of six Nicky Pets Odour Control Paper Towels. In that regard, these pet paper towels did not disappoint! When my pet tips over a water bowl, the cat vomits on the floor, or they play in the mud during our walks, these Nicky Pets paper towels are useful because they not only wipe the area but also leave a hint of lemon scent.These towels clean up any mess your pet makes! They claim to control smells and have a faint, inoffensive aroma. The sheets are slightly tougher and thicker than the most expensive pet tissues, but they are comparable. They tear readily. Still absorbent, but larger, making them more than capable of handling paws, a damp dog, or accidents that may require two sheets. Also ideal for wiping up larger spills. However, because they are bigger, they take up more space and wouldn’t fit on a standard towel holder; they also wouldn’t fit in my pet's food cupboards, so I leave them on the counter.Overall, I love these paper towels. They have a good thickness for wiping up spills and other messes caused by my mischievous animals. They are good quality, with large sheet rolls that do not fall apart even when exposed to minimal moisture. Not only are they large, but they are also quite absorbent. They are significantly cheaper, and you need less of them. I was very pleased with both the price and the quality.
