This is similar to a Lego kit and is a lot more intensive to build than some of them. It made a great Christmas present, and it took a long time to assemble. If your child is looking to play with it quickly, this is not going to happen. It is a challenge with more than 600 small pieces, but it allowed a lot of father and daughter quality time.

Not the best quality set, but good for the experience. It has a lot of functioning parts, but that comes with it's faults. The ferris wheel fell apart easily, and my husband (experienced block builder) was getting annoyed by it. The Rollercoaster worked well and my 6byear old enjoyed playing with it.

Cute but missing pieces in the Ferris wheel so we couldn’t out it together after spending hours on it. Very frustrating! Design:My kid likes the roller coaster. The balloon keeps falling apart every time she touches it. It’s awful. Value for money:Liked the price but after spending half a day on the construction spend $20 more and get something that stays together and doesn’t have missing parts instead.

Super annoying to put together. Build quality:Why...because the pices don't stay together and very easily come disconnected.

First, this was a very fun build. It was exciting for my daughter to see the rollercoaster come together, particularly because the rollercoaster cars work so well. Everything about this set is adorable.The instructions are clear, thorough, and easy to follow. However, the major flaw is the Ferris wheel. This part of the build uses technic style blocks and the way they designed it there isn't anything to truly secure the arms in place. As we were trying to put the little chairs on the various arms of the Ferris wheel it just kept falling apart. It took us about 5 attempts to finally get it up. Then, you can't play with it. It is meant to turn, but the second you put pressure on it, the arms all start to collapse again. We didn't have any of the technic connectors on hand in our supply of legos, so there was nothing we could do to remedy it. That part of the process added a lot of unnecessary frustration and disappointment. Because of the complications in the build, this is not a set my daughter would have been able to build on her own. Quite frankly, it was hard for me to get it together.If the Ferris wheel was designed better, then this toy would be a slam dunk. What we have done is removed the Ferris wheel so that we could create our own attractions for the roller coaster.
