Q: does this work with Xperia XZ Premium cell phone, which supports digital noise cancelling?

The jack on these earbuds have 5 contact points: 4 equally sized bands and the tip. An earphone-only jack has 3: 2 and the tip. If the NC Xperia earphones have 5, these 'might' work, but the microphone contacts would have to be the same. Since they're both Sony, if Xperia earbuds and the NC33 both have 5 contacts, they are 'probably' the same.

Q: I have a walkman nw-a55 and it tells me that nc is not available with these headphones. i saw that they were recommend together so what gives?

I use my “MDR-NWNC33 B” with an NW-A35 quite happily. I do not see much difference (google it for yourself) between A35 and A55 so, I’d give it a try. The sound quality is excellent, the noise canceling is quite good.

Q: Are the lengths of the two earbud wires the same length? I hate them being different lengths with the earbuds supplied with the product.

On this 5-contact jack (2 for the NC mikes) model the left wire is shorter than the right. The jack is also straight in w/o the 90° turn. I don't like those features either but they sound great.
