Beautiful puzzle, excellent quality.
We finally got around to working on this puzzle over the Thanksgiving holiday. The quality is great. I've never had a cork backed puzzle before. You can't flick the pieces across the table to someone, they're a little grippy. The cut quality was good, there were only 3 pairs of pieces still connected when opening the box. They came apart easily. There was zero board dust in the box. I've honestly never opened a puzzle that didn't have any cardboard dust in the bag; I'm impressed. The print quality is also very good and the pieces fit together well. I have no complaints. For the quality, the price is great.

Phenomenal puzzle, beautiful original art, durable corkboard
You have to be careful when buying puzzles today. Too often you see manufacturers downloading stock images, mass producing them onto cheap cardboard, and selling them at a premium price. It's not until you receive the box that you realize that the pieces aren't cut right, the printing is shoddy, or the picture isn't as nice as it looked on the box.Puzzles like this are a breath of fresh air.First of all, the painting. It's original art by an artist named Abraham Hunter. Included in the box is an enlarged full-color poster of the completed artwork for you to use as a guide while building it (no squinting at the box, although you can also have someone helping you put the puzzle together use that). The poster includes a photo of Hunter and his personal story of how he realized his God-given talent at age 12 and what inspires his art. I love that RoseArt lets Hunter tell his story of how he is inspired to paint gorgeous scenes like this, which adds a real human touch to this product. The painting itself is stunningly gorgeous. The colors of the flowers, the bird, the cottage, and the tranquil creek all pop out at you in vibrant color. There are four puzzles in this series, but I love this one the best. I remember growing up I loved Thomas Kinkade puzzles, but after a while those got a little too cliched and "dreamlike" for me. I appreciate how this painting manages to balance realism with just the right amount of impressionism. The quality of the puzzle is excellent as well. Instead of cheap cardboard or card stock, the puzzle is made of corkboard, which is not just more sustainable, but durable and easy to handle as well. The pieces come in a sealed paper bag, so you know that all the pieces are there.I do wish they could have manufactured this in the USA, but the manufacturing quality is pretty good for a puzzle manufactured overseas.I definitely recommend this if your family is into puzzles. At 1000 pieces, it'll be a nice challenge for adults and kids aged 10 and up, although a precocious 8 year old could certainly help as well.

Missing 2 pieces
This is a beautiful painting by artist Abraham Hunter. Unfortunately it’s missing 2 pieces! It’s difficult to assemble due to all colors used. I searched everywhere and no pieces dropped off table , no grandkids or pets. I looked back at my order history and last puzzle missing pieces was in 2018! Very disappointed.

no letters or numbers on the back-pieces just wouldn't fit
I REALLY wanted to love this puzzle. I was very excited about the cork backing...which truly is exquisite! However it was basically impossible to put the puzzle together as every piece fit every piece. After a few hours on this one...I did not complete. Hopefully others will have an easier time with this one, I couldn't hack it! LOL

Difficult to Do, But Rewarding to Finish It
This is the first puzzle I've done that has a cork backing. The product info says the pieces offer a beautiful "SNAP" as they are put together. Actually, I found the opposite seemed to be true. They felt kind of soft and giving, and as a result it felt like they sometimes molded themselves into a spot where they weren't actually supposed to fit. This was one of the things I found challenging about this puzzle. Another challenge was that there were large stretches where the pieces had only extremely subtle differences and where a large number of pieces all seemed to fit the exact same spot. Since puzzles have a domino effect, sometimes I could be almost done with a section before realizing that I had a piece that simple didn't fit anywhere, meaning that somewhere there was something else in the wrong spot. Changing that one, of course, affected the ones around it, so I would need to follow through on rearranging a number of pieces to make it work. I normally put puzzles together without ever looking back at the picture once I take the pieces out of the box, and this one took me longer than most because of the enormous similarity of so many pieces. Each piece is multicolored and a lot of the colors are soft pastels, so the difference in shade in a swirled pattern like clouds was not always easy to see at first glance. I found the sky to be the most challenging, and had to rework a few sections of it more than once before everything matched up as it should. I was glad to get it done, and I definitely felt a feeling of accomplishment, but I would only gift this to an avid puzzler who has the patience to work through all the twist and turns this involves in putting it together. The scene itself is pretty, and I like that it is an original oil painting and that it included a blurb about the artist.

Impossible and frustrating
2 stars for packaging in paper. 1 star for all pieces pretty much fitting together regardless of pattern or color making puzzle frustrating and impossible. Puzzles are supposed to be relaxing and fun but this one is not.

beautiful
Absolutely beautiful art when the puzzle is completed, and doubles as a corkboard that can be hung and used further when complete!
