What size battery is for the flashlight?

If a flashlight actually arrives in your kit, it should take a AA. I have other flashlights exactly like the one pictured and that's what fits in those.

Flashlight doesn't work. There is a spring in the conpartment as well on the lid. There should only be one. Is there a hack to get it to work?

There are 2 springs. One on the bottom, stick your battery pack in and the lid where the bulb is also has a spring.
