Read the reviews so you know what you're getting! This is SMALL. It's very cute looking. Not so intuitive to use, so I wonder how many of the returns just didn't understand how it works? Mine came with instructions, which I read. I found it easy to fill up with honey.I buy raw honey in bulk locally in a 25-gallon bucket. Because of that, my honey is crystalized. I scoop it out with a spoon and put it in a glass measuring cup and submerge the outside of the cup in hot water until it's nice and smooth and melted. Then I took that honey and poured it into this serving dish.It worked great! I pulled the handle and honey oozed down. We put it on some toast, worked great. I measured a tablespoon of it for a recipe - easiest way to measure honey ever since it pours so nicely from the bottom. I followed the advice of another review and we keep the plastic lid on the bottom when not in use. We remove it white cap, pour honey, put the cap back on, and set it in the glass dish.Best part is... no drips. No sticky. No mess. No utensils needed. I'm so excited to not be wiping honey off my counter anymore!Also, I didn't find the speed to be too slow, but if my honey thickens I plan to submerge the bottom of the glass into hot water. I'll come edit the review if we find anything not to our liking.

As described. Honey came out nice at first but ... Now I need to run under hot water before works properly. But that's just the honey getting thicker I think. When refil time I think I'll not fill as much so I can keep fresher honey in it.

I use this item daily as I add honey to my son’s milk before giving it to him. The only thing I don’t like about it is that there is now way to stop the flow of honey, you have to quickly close the little hole on the bottom with a provided cap, which can be inconvenient. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful item and very useful in keeping honey fresh and not crystalizing.

I seriously love this thing. I'm such a a fan of honey but not a fan of the mess. This works perfectly. So much so I bought one for my dad, a fellow honey lover. And it's even very attractive so I leave it on the table.

Even it didn't bring much instructions, this piece is of great quality. Works well - it took me to figure it out! I just refilled it and thanks goodness I didn't throw away the white stopper! Doesn't leak and just look good in any kitchen. Its pretty easy to clean. I would of love a little stronger flow (speed of honey out) but still fun to use. It holds good amount to keep it fresh.

If you buy your honey at the grocery store, this is a great product. However, we are beekeepers and I should have realized that it would be dicey with pure raw honey, which often crystallizes. Because the “spout” is actually on the bottom of the item, and crystallized, honey sinks to the bottom, the hole has repeatedly plugged. I’ve already had to take this apart three times and I’ve only had it two days. Sadly, my packaging already went out to the trash or I would return it. Back to my old squeeze bottle.It’s a great product and a wonderful idea but it just won’t work for me using raw local honey.

This is my second honey dispenser. The first one was by a different company but looked identical. However, that one leaked and this one doesn't. We use it every day and it's so much better than trying to squeeze the honey out of a plastic bottle or dipping it out of a jar with one of those little honey dipper things. I also like that the jar is glass. It's very easy to refill, just don't lose the little plastic cap for the bottom. I'd definitely buy again.

At first I thought the dispenser looked like a normal syrup dispenser that pours the liquid from a spout at the top. Actually, the liquid is dispensed from the bottom of the dispenser by pulling down on the handle on the top. When not in use, the glass cradle that the dispenser sits in collects any residue from the bottom opening. At first I wasn't impressed as I figured the bottle would get too sticky. However, after using it, I found that any leakage into the bottom glass cradle was minimal at best. I like the fact that when dispensing the honey, it doesn't come out in a gush like it would from the actual honey bottle you buy in the store.
