as grinders go, the noise level on this is not bad at all. The grind is excellent also. the bean hopper funnel into the grinding burrs sometimes allow beans to 'get stuck' and not drop into the grinding burrs - this is more a factor of bean time/grind/roast than the grinder though. Overall this is a very good system that does a spectacular job providing consistent grind every time. automated dosing along with the ability to custom define the grind amounts as well. highly recommend

This has to be one of the best grinders I have ever used. The digital interface makes it easy to use.

it grinds realty good, but they missed the major issue here.the bean hopper needs to redesign since bean got stuck almost every time, I grind the beansI really can't give 5 stars for this item at all

I bought this on Amazon for quick, free shipping - and that the seller is a reputable dealer (Seattle Coffee Gear). We have the older version of this which we love - easy to use, quiet, and produces fluffy grinds. The manual clearly states the grinder has been adjusted at the factory for espresso - it is not. When I (eventually) went to the Seattle Coffee Gear website it has a warning that you will need to calibrate the grind for espresso- so something is not quite right. My original worked right out of the box - this took me a half a pound of coffee and 20-30 mins to get working. I reckon this batch of machines left the factory without final adjustments- it’s a great grinder but be prepared to spend a bit of time getting it set up. Also there are enhancements from the original design which are nice (larger grind knob, new display layout, better fitting hopper, etc).

The media could not be loaded. Update 10/27/23 to include a video & show the mess it makes & also that our 2 button went out. Idk if others have had that issue? (Ignore sound in background, I’m set up at an event on my coffee cart.)Read tons of reviews on lots of products including this one. Was super stoked about it. Especially when people kept saying it didn’t make a mess with grinds everywhere. Liars! We have had such a mess with this thing that we never had before. The grinds go all over the counter, the back of the grip the portafilter set on, the base of the machine and just everywhere. So much waste. GrrrThe hopper tends to stop up and not allow the beans to gravity feed very well. I’m nonstop having to shake the hopper or use a stir stick to push the beans around so they will fall into the grinder.Despite that, it grinds good. I like the easy to use buttons up top. It looks sleek and stylish no matter the setting you put it in. It is not overly loud for me (I have a hearing issue with background noises) so I’m still able to hear my customers while it is grinding. It’s easy to adjust the settings if you need to.I’d recommend this to others. Just be prepared for the mess.
