3-in-1 Soil Meter Optimize Plant Health with Moisture, Light & pH Testing

Most of these negative reviews are from people that did not read the instructions written in bold on the back. They literally tell you 4 times, but you are suppose to use it only for about 10sec in the soil to get a basic reading on your soil levels. It also recommends using it in 3 places to get a more accurate reading. It will break if you leave it in the soil, as metal rusts when left in a moist or wet environment (duh?)works great!

Mostly works. The light feature has never worked and I’m not sure the PH does either. It reads the same in every single plant I’ve gotten, even new ones from nurseries that I haven’t watered yet. So…again, not sure. But the moisture feature is SO helpful and has helped keep me from over-watering.

Good unit but screen size for reading results not easy to read.

I've been following basic plant care advice for the past few years: putting plants near or far from windows based on the available information, using the "fingertip test" to water, and going to the internet to diagnose any plants that seemed less than healthy.I had NO idea how much I was stressing my plants until I started using this meter. My "intuition" was resulting in both overwatering and underwatering, and at least one plant was getting way less light than it needed!After a few weeks of using this meter, my houseplants (two huge peace lilies, a mid-size fiddle leaf fig, several succulents, and a gold dust plant) are visibly healthier: glossier, perkier, and with fewer leaf flaws. They're putting on much more spring growth than they have in several years.I am glad I bought this gizmo literally every day as I see my plants flourish. 10/10 recommend.

I wish I bought the one for half the price. I will be returning this as the light and Ph does not work.

I love all of the uses for this tool! It tells you how dry/wet the soil is, if your PH is too low or too high, AND the best part how much light it is getting!!
