Cutting on the front of the curve!
These scissors are very sharp and easy to use. As a right handed guy living among left handed women, I've found that everybody can use them without complaint. My wife looked puzzled by the scimitar-like curve in the blades, but this offset design is efficient on long cuts and when a bit more leverage is needed. I gave my daughter a set for her kitchen too. I recommend them...a great deal for the price.

Cut through bone, and fruit! Heavy duty and Sharp!
This is heavy duty and great for all purpose food kitchen use, but be careful my 10 year old cooks with me and these aren’t something I allow him to handle. The two openers in the side are convenient but sharp.

Bought these scissors to butterfly a turkey
Bought these scissors to butterfly a turkey. They worked perfectly for that, but I tried to open a plastic clamshell case and they wouldn't cut it. Maybe I was doing something wrong. I still think they are going to be very useful scissors.

They are fine light to medium duty kitchen scissors. And for that they are great.
I bought them because they advertised working well in heavy duty efforts - I wanted to be able to cut fish & cartilage. Even on smaller fish this is a real effort. Great for medium and lighter duty. I would look elsewhere for "heavy duty" scissors. thanks

Made my life easy
Oh its an absolute life saving tool for me. I keep buying fishes from flea market and I have to clean then at home. This one cuts brim fins like a pro. No more bloody hand for my anymore. I love this. And I do recommend this product to all my friends and already three people bought this one in Amazon on my recomendation. Trust me, this wont fail you if you love to eat fish.

Low quality stainless -- Don't buy.
I bought these based on the statement that they are "high quality stainless". They aren't. They rust and are readily reactive to a magnet. I'd not buy them again and am getting pretty tired of mis-labeled products.

Not sharp or built strongly.
I bought this to cut chicken etc. I had Cutco and some others but these looked good. It cannot cut a chicken breast. If you put a little pressure on them they start to bend. They don't even seem sharp. I cut more skin and small bones with my kitchen knife. I am not impressed. ok to cut vegetables mainly.
