BHS Ladies Comfortable Work Straight Leg Office Formal Smart Womens Trousers

I bought 2 pairs of these a year ago as work trousers and they are brilliant, fit and wash really well. I needed extra pairs so re-ordered approx 1 month ago in same size (8), when they arrived they were significantly tighter than other pairs, assumed I had grown so returned and ordered size 10. One of the size 10 wasn't even the correct style but both pairs were ridiculously huge. Due to the cost of return postage I sent these to local Charity shop. I have just re-ordered size 8 thinking previous pair may have been mis-cut and because I have accidentally shrunk existing pairs in tumble dryer (label does say do not tumble dry) though they still fit well. The new pairs of these are significantly smaller than my tumble dried ones! A size 8 colleague has tried these also and confirms these cannot be more than a size 6.As of January 2019 If you are under a size 12 I would avoid these as return postage is costly and defeats the object of reasonably priced work trousers. Originally I raved about these trousers but now I am just very disappointed and back on the hunt for reasonably priced sensibly sized work trousers. The original pair got 5 stars but after experience with recent pairs they are not worth 2 (well made but dreadful sizing)

Very comfortable. I love the long legs on these trousers. Brilliant for the price.

Material a bit thin but ok. Expected better quality for BHS.

These were a really nice fit, however I would recommend getting them a size smaller depending on your preferences of how tight
