Useless for motion detection parking mode
The main reason for buying this is to provide additional functionality in parking mode, but it is currently unusable where the camera is in motion detection mode.The software behind it is not fully developed and does not allow you to configure what type of events are uploaded to the cloud or what types of events are notified on your phone. For example, you cannot have the camera in motion detection mode (recording to the SD card) but have it only notify you or upload data to the cloud for a collision (rather than every single motion detected).Instead the camera and LTE module will notify you of every single detected motion event, and for each of these it will upload a snapshot image to the cloud at a rate of about 1.5 Mb per minute or more if you are parked on a public road. You have no control over this. This very quickly consumes SIM data and unless you park in a private garage you would need an (expensive) unlimited data plan to cover the upload of these snapshot images, and your phone would be constantly pinging notifications serval times a minute for every passing car or pedestrian.When raised with Vantrue’s customer support, their suggestion was to update the app (makes no difference whatsoever), and either turn off notifications altogether (which would still need an unlimited data SIM as this has no impact on what the module choses to upload) or only use in collision detection mode, all of which seriously limit the usefulness of something that is supposed to enhance parking mode rather than restrict it. Funny how the marketing omits to mention any of this.

Make sure camera is on latest firmware first
Placed EE sim into unit, green leds active for signal. Confirmed Internet was active by connecting to LT01 as a hotspot, Internet connection confirmed to be fine. When trying to activate via the vantrue app, it keeps failing, so I can't see dash cam etc. Turns out e360 dashcam needed latest firmware then activation was successful.

Does not conect to any service providers
the product does not connect with any mobile service provider. I have returned the product. Does somebody do a quality checks on these products. ?

Waste of money impossible to connect
Don't buy this; it's impossible to connect. I tried with EE, Vodafone, Three, Lebara, and Lyca. Waste of money
