The blade is open, but i cannot shut the blade??

Hold the knife infront of you open. Then u will see a jagged edge inside were the blade foldes into. Press the jagged metal to the left of the knife then fold the blade in

From my understanding it is NOT UK legal. Any locking blade is potentially classed as an offensive weapon unless you can provide good reason for carrying it eg. for use in your line of work. You could potentially disable the locking clip (cut/grind it off) and then you would be fine. Any NON locking blade UNDER 3 inches it is legal for general carry.

Does this knife lock open too? I see it locks closed.

Friction holds it closed and a sprung part of the casing locks it open. Be advised that is not a legal every day carry knife because of the locking blade.

Can you purchase spare blades for this?

don't think so but it's a great little knife
