Paul Mitchell Detangler Comb, Wide Tooth Comb Detangles Wet or Dry Hair

Purchased this comb to go along with some salon quality hair products as a gift. This is uch a nice sturdy comb with wide spaced tines. Great for long, thick or curly hair. Glides smoothly and easily. Great for combing out freshly washed hair or hot iron curls to get that loose wave look. I got it on such a great deal. I should’ve bought several! Paul Mitchell is a brand you can trust, great quality, and a great product!

This comb is big and sturdy. It's well made with no sharp corners of edges. It's ideal for very gently combing out hair just after shower when hair is most vulnerable to breakage, and then the hair air dries beautifully. This comb has become an essential hair care tool but it was especially nice to find this one in the color needed. It is not a solid opaque white but a slightly translucent frosted white. It's very well made and works nicely but also looks great in a white color scheme.Photo shows the black comb I had before and this new white one in comparison. The white one is thicker and sturdier. The printed logo is on just the one side of this white one. On the white sink top it is a bit difficult to see that it is a semi-translucent white but if you look closely at the handle where the logo is on the reverse side, you can kind of tell there.I had been experiencing hair loss which is why I originally switched from a brush to wide tooth combs (every time I tried brushing my hair so much snagged and fell out that it was like a little grief every time I brushed my hair) and though the issue of hair loss has been resolved, I will never again be without a well made wide tooth comb. The way it runs through hair, even after a shower, is amazing and tangle free. It doesn't snag or pull out those precious strands. This comb has not resolved frizz for me but it DOES reduce it. When I use it with one single drop of rosemary EO to scalp top after a shower and comb it through, the combo knocks the frizz back and helps my hair and scalp. On dry or wet hair, this comb is tops!It's not just for one type of hair, by any means. Whatever hair type, if you want to grow or care for medium to long beautiful locks, thick, thin, fine, straight, mature, wavy or curly, this comb will do so in a way that won't cause extra damage to your hair.It's no delicate thing. You can drop this comb, accidentally bang it on the table too hard, step on it.... It's very durable and will last a long time. Would stand up to a busy commercial hair styling environment.Super function and the frosted white color looks very nice.

This comb does exactly as advertised. I have purchased many different combs, some better than others, BUT I would have never believed I could find a comb that actually smoothly glides through my long fine hair. It is TRUE. My hair tangles and forms knots which cause me to not want to deal with it. It was not expensive and I love it is a product that does what is advertised. You can use it on wet or dry hair. This detangling hair comb works great for thick, long, or curly hair. It is fairly large, extremely durable, and glides through wet hair. It is a great value for the money compared to other options.

I have two of these combs and they are the only comb/brush I use on my long, thick, mostly straight but slightly wavy hair. For context, I have highlighted hair that tends to get dry at the very ends (especially when I'm due for a haircut) and will get a good amount of tangles especially if I've worn it up. I always brush my hair when it is wet after a shower, sometimes in the shower. This gets all the tangles out with minimal pulling and I can run it through my dry hair after that without a problem. I like that it's solid plastic so I can leave one in my shower. Super lightweight and easy to pack too. I've had one since 2023 and it is just as durable as when I got it.

This is a great sturdy wide tooth comb. Great price point as well. I got it to be able to get the tingles out of my extensions and it works perfectly for that just starting at the bottom of your hair and working your way up. It’s nice and gentle on your hair. Great comb to throw in your purse or leave your vehicle.

Pleasantly surprised. The comb isn’t flimsy at all, plus I’m able to reach the back where hair gets knotted the most. Most importantly, comb is comfortable to hold while brushing through hair. Definitely worth the buy, in my opinion.

Good quality comb especially for wet hair. Good for detangling.
