Fast and convenient tea, anywhere there's a microwave!
No more excuses to not drink a variety of tea all day.Simply, pour some water in the cup, then heat in the microwave for a minute or two, then place a tea bag in the water as usual. Voila! Real tea, instantly! No need to mess around with pots and kettles.Oh, and this godsend of a cup is made in a country (Japan) known for tea drinkers that demand quality perfection, meaning, master craftsmanship.

I actually like this cup much to my surprise
I ordered this cup even though there were many reviews saying it was small but the description says 12 oz. When it arrived, it was an ugh moment and I threw it in the back of a cupboard still wrapped in the plastic bag it came in. I have been using an old (purchased in 1991) insulated plastic cup that I purchased at the gas station which is a couple inches taller. I had really wanted something that was ok to be microwaved. I am sure my old cup shouldn't be microwaved but I do it anyway. Well the other day I noticed the barely visible writing on my old cup says 12 oz. This reminded me of the cup I threw in the cupboard. I warmed up a cup of coffee in it and it's great in the microwave. Beverage was hot and cup was not. It has a nice smooth rim and thus is pleasant to drink from it. I decided to check the volume and yes it holds 12 oz when filled to the rim (probably 11 oz when using it) so they did measure the volume correctly. It looks small in comparison to my other cup but the volume is the same. It is not insulated but since it is not a massive amount of coffee it works just fine. This cup weighs almost nothing which is great. This will be perfect for camping for me. I don't have a microwave in my tent so I don't want a larger cup anyways. I just pour myself another cup and tada I have hot coffee. If you are looking for a good old fashioned non-supersized coffee cup that you can microwave give this one a chance as it may surprise you too.

Great for camping
Easy to pack, light. It may get smudged but can always be cleaned. Super durable, and keeps your coffee hot while camping

Excellent lightweight mug
Very satisfied with this purchase. Was able to contain scalding-hot, freshly brewed coffee, and I could hold it from the bottom without it feeling too warm. It is manufactured with thick, quality plastic, and seems like it will last me a very long time. Japanese companies always produce the best products. I'll update this product review after 3 months of daily use.If anyone is interested in a translation for what the stickers say, I'll translate them here. Top: "Range Mug Cup, OK to Microwave", Bottom: "Ivory Microwave Mug/Cup". You're welcome. :)

Good quality but small
Appears to be of good quality. Haven't used it yet -But it is small. Better suited for a child than adult hand.

For the Elderly/Infirm this is THE cup!
My dad was 84 years old with dementia and got out of the hospital and was complaining that the mugs were too heavy that we gave him the coffee in.When I gave him this cup he said “now that’s a coffee mug” and was so pleased, that I was tickled pink.I felt like I had finally done something right and made him happy in the last weeks of his life. These mugs have an old school diner vibe, and are lightweight and durable.I have big hands and I wouldn’t use it but that’s not why I bought it it’s perfect for somebody who’s elderly or infirm and I would highly recommend it!!!

Didn't like it
Now o bought these thinking they would be full size cups but their not. They don't get hot in the microwave so that's a plus and they are bpa free but they're very small. Except for it being bpa free it would probably have been cheaper to get from dollar tree. They should put the sizes in inches so people know how small they are. They are easy to clean though, microwaveable and bpa free so I will use them. Just disappointing how small they are compared to a normal size cup
