Perfect replacement for a tired unit.
My tank switch was cracked and brittle over the 30 something years of being in service. This product is shipped in a GM labeled box and looks just like the original.Super easy to replace and now works perfectly. Plus it gives new life to my interior. It makes my truck looks 10 years younger. (In my mind).I have been using it for the past few months with no issues. Great buy.

The fit and function are the same and it works great. The looks are not exactly like the original but I guess thats how they're made now.

84 K10 - Genuine GM? Made in Taiwan!
Update: I used epoxy on the tabs that hold the switch together. So far it works as I expected. So I'll wave the labor charge. I'll leave my review at one star so other folks know what they are getting into. The label on the switch indicated this unit was made in Taiwan. Not well constructed. Upon installing the two major parts came apart. That caused the spring and ball that center the switch and create the click to come apart.I reassembled the switch and secured the two major pieces with a zip tie. Tested OK, so I'll remove the zip tie and super glue it back together.I fix things, so this was easier than returning, and reordering. My shop fee is $50/hr so Amazon owes me $20 in labor costs! Not same "SIZE" as 1974 to 1981 chevy selector switch (used it to replace single wire valve)
I had to replace the single wire 6 port fuel selector valve in my 1975 chevy k20. They no longer sell the single wire version so i had to go with the multi wire version where the gauges are also switched inside the valve. This is a momentary switch that only provides voltage when you have the switch depressed all the way (will not work for fuel pump circuit). The switch is larger than the original switch in my 1975 so I had to cut the dash to fit. Had to make an E clip out of sheet metal to secure the switch. Spliced the aux tank gauge wire to one the other original wires by the switch to send it to the valve. All in all it worked for my app but will not work if you need power to fuel pump. They sell another one for that app
