Works great. Car AC is now cold.
Spent a bit more for this hose and it was worth it. Really easy to use and was able to add refrigerant to my Dodge charger which is now nice and cool. The hose fits the can in the attached picture. Takes it a bit of force to push the hose in to the low pressure port.

works great

Quick Fill Hose Won't Connect to Port
Gauge and trigger portion are no better than what you find on the "Quick Fill" kits. What attracted me to this was the metal quick disconnect instead of the usual plastic. That disconnect was my downfall. It refuses to go on to the low pressure port of my '14 Grand Cherokee. Even with only about 10psi in the system it refused to connect. I have two valves with plastic disconnects that go on with little effort.

Work well. But why not include a can piercing valve?
The gauges look nice and work fine. I also ordered a piercing valve. When I got both in my hands I knew I was in for some learning pains. The yellow hose to connect to the refrigerant canister is 1/2" LH ACME thread. This may work with 10 pound tanks of refrigerant, but is a big problem when trying to connect to the self sealing can. For this you need a piercing valve, and the only ones I have found have an outlet that is 1/4" FLR (so it require a flare connection). These 2 things do not go together in any way that I could think of short of cutting the hose and using a barbed fitting (which works but you also need to flare tubing and make up some brass fittings). So, InterDynamics, I have a request. Just add an adapter in the box. It probably only costs $10 more and sure does make this learning curve less painful.
