Are they big? I need a big scrunchie

Yes there big with good strong stretchy elastic. I have think long hair and they go around twice, 3 times at a push and stay in place. I've had them months and the Eleatic is still perfect.

Does this cause kinks in hair? I'm looking for something to wear at night that doesn't kink too much.

Depends how tight you do them. I bought the because I didn’t want kinks. I twist my hair in a bun then put these over to secure so no risk of kinks
