I see some negative reviews, some of them stating the dosage is just too high. My doctor recommended taking this for my high homocysteine levels, but said to only take one capsule per day, not three. He basically agrees that the manufacturer's recommended dosage of three per day is too high. But I initially started taking two per day anyway, to get more TMG. But then I switched to one per day like my doctor suggested, plus an additional separate 1000 mg TMG.Even one per day might be a high dose if you don't specifically have a requirement. But since I do, one per day has been working well for me. My recent blood homocysteine blood level was improved.If even one per day is too high of a dose for you, you might consider the regular Thorne Methyl-Guard instead of the Plus. Basically, the Thorne products are really good but adjust dose per your personal needs. And like me, you could also add a TMG-only supplement if you want more of that specifically.Other people complain about pill size. I personally don't have a problem with larger pills as long as I swallow them with food. That works for me.Another complaint is the price. It's not cheap. But since I only take one per day, a bottle lasts me 90 days not 30. So that helps with the cost.

This is one of the better brands with regards to bioavailability and supporting MHTFR. I definitely notice a difference in energy. Clean energy, not jittery. The only complaint is that it is not a complete B complex. I don’t understand why they didn’t add all the B vitamins to this formula. I’ve read a lot of articles that say it’s important to balance out our B vitamin intake. In other words, if you are taking one B vitamin, you should take them all. That they play on each other, that one needs the other to function properly. This formula is missing Thiamine, and Niacin. Two B vitamins that a lot of important benefits. I’m curious as to why Thorne omitted these two vitamins. I took these for a year thinking they were complete. I started to feel sluggish again and that’s when I researched and found a lot info on balancing out B vitamins. I’ve since added Thiamine (AllThiamine version) and Niacin, and feel better, a little more energy than I had before. Again great brand, love the high dose, and added TMG, just wish it was more complete B complex.

These work great! I tried a different brand thinking I could save money and my muscle and joint pain/tension came right back! Started taking these again and my body is back to great functionality! They are worth the cost!
