My Basenjis have very short, low shedding fur, but this product did an excellent job of stripping away loose hairs and dry skin. They are even softer than they were before. And more importantly, the pups seemed to enjoy the brushing a lot. The product seems well made and durable. I’d definitely recommend it.

I have two cats with very different fur. One is a slick black cat with very fine, silky fur. The other is a tabby with a double coat of thicker, more straw-like hair. I've struggled to find a brush that works well for either of them, much less for both of them. Those struggles are over!This brush handles both their fur types extraordinarily well. They were both a little wary of it but now come up to me for brushing and will rub their cheeks against it to get me to brush them out. I can't believe how different their fur feels. They both are much softer and seem to be less itchy. There's also less loose fur tumbling around the house!The slight scraping sound it makes probably had them a little nervous at first. We went slowly and I demonstrated by brushing on myself so that they could get used to the sound and feeling at their pace and know that it is safe. I was worried about hair pulling at first because of the noise and how much hair came off, but it quickly became clear that the hair coming off was loose already. I recommend practicing patience with your animals, especially if they haven't had a brush like this in the past.I like the design of the brush. I have smaller hands, and the small brush fits well within my hand and almost feels like I'm simply petting my cats and not brushing them. It's very easy to clean up the hair since it mostly collects on the underside of the brush.The only thing I wish was different is the sides of the metal and where it connects to the wooden handle. One side of the metal extends out past the handle a little bit (a very, very little bit!), which can be slightly uncomfortable if I run my hand against it the wrong way. I plan to add a dot of hot glue or silicone sealant to protect myself from this. I suspect this is perhaps just a slight quality issue with the brush I received, but it's an easy enough fix that I won't bother with a return or exchange.

I've been searching for years trying to find something that will brush our Dachshund/Pits hair. She hated the regular slicker brushes, regular brushes didn't work, even a high dollar deshedding combs didn't work very well. This comb is a godsend. Watching the hair collect in drifts as I comb her is great to see. I found this through "The Dog Detailer" on YouTube. So glad I did, Thank you for the recommendation. Best thing ever.

This thing is CRAZY - takes out the undercoat and works on serious shedders. My dog has a combo coat - part thin coarse hairs and then a shepherd-like undercoat. She has been shedding a ton so I was looking for something super effective - this is IT. amazing. and she seems to enjoy the feeling of it as well - she did not like to be brushed with all the others I have tried. Seems like it would work well on long-haired cats as well - removing mats and tangles. Extremely durable - basically wood base with small metal blade - feels like it will last for a long time and the design is comfortable in your hand.

It works. I was hoping it would pull out more hair at once, but it does pull out the hair. We have an Australian Shepherd and she needs to be brushed often. However, she hates being brushed. This tool does work and she does tolerate it better than our other brushes. It appears to be a wooden handle with a hacksaw type blade that does the shedding.

OK, I was a cautious customer. HOWEVER, this is the best brush ever!!!! It is durable, easy to clean, my dog absolutely love loves it. It is comfortable in your hands and for your furry babies. My dog has medium length hair with a double coat and it works perfect.

So lemme tell ya, some bunny owners have heard the joke that bunnies shed twice a year for 6 months each time. Ok, maybe not but it feels like it! I’ve used the purple furminator, hair buster comb, glove brush, probably everything under the sun to brush my bunny’s fur. All of those products had thousands of reviews and legit, they all work great. It wasn’t the funnest thing for me to brush my bunny and he dreaded it just as much. But he seems to~ dare I say it, like being brushed with this?? This is the calmest I’ve seen him while being brushed. How I could tell he liked it? He kissed me every time I took the fur off the brush and balled it up. He never does that during a brushing! The brush doesn’t pull his fur, the brush is easy to use, it doesn’t seem to take the undercoat of fur, and his fur felt soft. Tip: bunnies have fine fur and it goes up your nose, literally into your eyeballs, clothes, face, and hair. I put a bit of water on disposable gloves and lightly rub the wet gloves on his fur. This helps reduce floating fur from landing everywhere. I reuse the disposable gloves for the next brushing. Highly recommend this brush and according to my bunny, bunny approved.

I absolutely love this brush. Our Horses love it too. I find this brush amazing quality, definitely removes hair and dirt. And really easy to clean. It's gentle and worth every penny. Thank you too the gal at Ranch and home who suggested this brush! I would say this brush is for short haired horses. Best use in summer for shedding.
