Product is exactly as described. We mounted it in our shop.
This product is exactly as described. It has dual settings. You can run either the left or the right side or both at the same time as a thermostat was easy to mount. We put it in our 800 square-foot shop as a great output of heat, the noise level is just a very nice hum sound, it’s a great value for the money. It was easy to install. We are very happy with the product. It makes our shop very warm.It adds lots of comfort to our shop and it does have a thermostat and it will auto shut off, I’m very pleased with this product

ORIGINAL product good. Amazon bad.
This is not a product review but an Amazon review. The product is great. I wanted to replace one I already had from 20 years ago. It lasted a long time before faltering. They sent me someone elses BROKEN RETURN complete with the return paperwork from Oklahoma!! What a pain to have to return and reorder?!?!

Fire hazard NOT UL listed or UL compliant on grounding! Lasts for about 1 week and burns out!
Fire hazard NOT UL listed or UL compliant on grounding! Lasts for about 1 week and burns out! After this heater failed (both elements burned out) I took the side panel off to find the ground was not secured properly to the chassis. It was attached via a sheet metal screw with no locking mechanism like required by UL products that have a green screw with locktight/locking head. The big hint on label is "conforms to UL" instead of the typical "UL listed" stamp. Each tube lasted about 1 week in a cold shop. I did notice both tubes tended to have a hot spot, which seems to get more hot than the rest of the element/tube. Keep in mind that this is radiant heat and it does not heat a space, but only the occupant or whatever it is pointed at. I was hoping to use it on low 750W to keep the shop dry like typically done with heat lamps. I noticed many reviews of element failures in first week of usage. Wish I had read them before wasting money on this unsafe heater! I guess I am happy just to not burn my shop down ... and not have any insurance coverage due to using non-UL listed items as Amazon so frequently sells today.

Inexpensive, decent quality. Wish there was more output.
Good and inexpensive product. Doesn't put out at much heat as I wanted to... So I bought two of them for my garage. They work well. First shipment one came in broke, returning to Amazon is always a hassle because you have to go find a printer and then ship it out. Who has a printer anymore!? My suggestion, just give the return slip inside the box... It would save so much time and energy.

Worth buying
I live in the North East and winters are cold! I have a poll barn that I use daily and let me tell you these heaters are life savers during the winter months. Plugs in and warms up quickly! Just make sure you are aware of how many feet your trying to heat up as one may not cut it. I own 3 of these and taught a 4th incase of emergency's so if piper gos out I can put one of these in my basement and keep the pipes from freezing and also provide some warmth for the basement.. These heaters are easy to install. Pumps out all the heat you may need and works grate! Just be advised you read the instructions on cleaning these as dust on these things smell horrible and they require a whip down every now and again.. Oh! and for those of you like my self trying to keep cost down these things don't run up your bill all that much ,, Or at least thats what I feel, as I have used other electric and none electric heaters in the winters and some can be rather costly.. Anyways ive rambled enough .. if your looking for a good heater that is easy to install, reliable and pumps out the warmth your looking for then give this product a try..

When it works, it works
It definitely works well, but after about a month I believe it malfunctioned, blew a circuit and stopped working. Since I’m not an electrician, I’m not certain what caused the issue or whether it’s my fault or the product’s fault. I wish I had had a more satisfactory experience with this heater.

Works well
I’ve been dealing with a cold garage here in Colorado, and wanted some kind of heat source to knock the edge off that cold while I work. It won’t heat the whole garage, but it works well with it hanging nearby and pointed at me. I typically will run it on high (setting II) for a few minutes, then drop it back down to low (setting I) for the rest of the time I’m working. It doesn’t make me toasty, but it definitely warms me enough to be reasonably comfortable. I ran this heater through an outlet tester to see what it was drawing. On setting II, it draws about 1350 watts and on setting I, it draws about 690 watts. Very happy I got this heater.

Impressive amount of sustained heat
This heater is meant to help my baseboard electric heating system in my shop. My shop is 16x20 with 22 foot ceiling and a wall of windows facing north. I leave baseboard heat set at 45 degrees at night, so that's where I start.I needed a little more help getting the shop up to 60 or so degrees and then maintaining that temperature for the day. Now after a couple hours, I turn down the baseboard heat and stay comfortable the rest of the day, using this wall heater. The directions say not to mount it on the wall, but their own website shows pictures mounted this way. I'm careful not to go off and leave it on high, unattended for more than a few minutes.I do have a ceiling fan in the shop that pulls hot air down, so that probably helps with high ceilings quite a bit...fyi.This works perfectly for my situation, and I'm very pleased with it. Hope this helps you to make a decision whether to buy.
