Bought this for my son almost a year ago.Functionality and charge capacity were good. One issue with the case is that it does offer too much screen protection as the front edge of the case is almost flush with the screen. I recommend using a screen protector with this case as my son has managed to crack two Zagg glass protectors in that time.About a week ago, my son said the case stopped charging his phone. The case itself still charges and displays the charge level, but it did not recharge the phone sitting in the case. Since we bought the case a year ago, I did not think the seller will do anything about it, but I messaged them anyway. I go a response the next day saying the case has warranty and will ship a replacement case. A few days later, the new case showed up. Kudos to the seller Feob Direct for standing behind their product.

UPDATE: This stupid case is a piece of trash. I originally thought that I received a lemon but I returned the first case and it was replaced with a new one after it stopped charging after 1 month. Well, after having this new battery case for almost a month I shouldn't be surprised that it STOPPED charging again. Will be returning. This product is defective and they should def stop selling it.After 1 month: Not long after updating my review to 5 starts the phone case stopped charging the iphone even though it has a full charge on the external battery. (All 4 blue lights are lit up indicating it is fully charged.) When pressing the button to utilize the charge on the phone it no longer turns on to charge. This has been very frustrating to say the least going back on forth on the quality of this product. When it worked, it worked well, however, it seems to be hit and miss.After 1 month:This phone case had a bad start but it’s is actually fabulous, it does take a while to charge but once it’s full it will fully charge a phone that’s at 5%. Would recommend!EDIT: Only charged half way when we rcvd it. Used it on a phone and it gave it an additional 30% charge before being drained. This case is GARBAGE.Opened the Amazon box to find the product in an unsealed box opened exactly as shown in the image. Who the heck is packaging these at Amazon facilities thinking that this is ok? Thanks for the used merchandise. Don’t buy from this seller as they don’t care about quality.

I gave this product 5 stars because, so far it has worked perfectly for me.The good: this case charges my phone and ease of use is great. The button is located on the back so I do occasionally accidentally turn it on but its very easy to turn off. The battery life seems to charge my phone from 20% to 100% and still has a little bit of charge left.The bad: I did not realize that I had to charge the case without the phone before I could actually use it properly. Easy fix though and no complaints once I figured that out. The case is also about as thick as an Otter Box Defender case.The ugly: the case will add about a pound to your phone’s weight. Getting the phone in the case was easy but getting it out is a little bit of a pain, but it’s manageable. One more minor detail about the case is that when the flash goes off while taking a picture, it creates some sort of reflective glare, because of how deep the camera is, inside of the case.

This is now my second purchase of an IPhone 8 phone charger, it works for a few days, then stops charging . I do not recommend this charger.

Used the case while in Montreal and loved that I was able to use my phone all day without having to recharge the case or the phone with an extra travel charger. The case charged my phone then stopped when sufficiently charged which allowed me to use the case again to charge later in the day.Cons... not easy to take off, does not protect around the screen so if it falls on screen the screen will crack, also heavy but I guess that is to be expected.

I’ve had the case for over 1 year and it no longer holds a charge. It did it’s job for a while and finally I’m switching to another way of charging. Since mag charging has become more popular I’ve decided to get a mag charging case and a mag lock battery backup. The main issue I had with this case was the port eventually gets worn out.The main issue I have with this case is over time the charger port starts to no longer hold cables properly (it gets worn out). I would drive and hit a bump and the cable would pop out or have it charging on a table and even the slightest movement of my phone would have the cable pop out.That made this case kind of a nightmare for me. If my phone was at 10% and I plugged it in at night and woke up in the morning sometimes the plug would pop out half way through the night and I would have no charge in the morning or the same low charge.The only good thing about this seller was when the case didn’t work out of the box when I originally ordered it they sent me a new one free. Thinking about it now I should of just ordered a different case.

I read the 1 star reviews about how this product stops working after a few weeks prior to purchasing this case & despite my better judgment, I went ahead with it anyway. I figured it was user error, but no. It literally just stops working. Don’t get me wrong, it was great for the first week, but now it’s just done working.The case itself still charges and all of the lights work, but instead of sending a charge to the phone when I click it on, the charge meter flashes on the back (showing that the case is fully charged) & that’s it. Normally if you plug it in while your phone is in it, both the case & phone will charge. My phone no longer receives charge from either of these methods.I’m guessing something fried on the output, but if you read other poor reviews, it seems like a pretty common defect.Don’t buy this product. It’s very poorly manufactured.
