Punchy sound
Great pickups. My bass doesn’t sound like a normal precision

Must Have Sound
10/10. Bright sounding pick-ups for a great versatile tone. I grew up listening to Blink-182 - and this is what so many other bassists also use, these will help you stand out in the mix and just work amazing for most styles of music. Perfect upgrade for any bass at any price, great clarity and will make it a joy to play.

I nice update for the right price
Amazing pickups, totally worth it. I installed them in a MIM Precision Bass and the sound changed for the best. More low end, punch and a very well defined high end without losing that P-Bass pickup sound that we all love. Definitely a more modern sound than a vintage one, but I found it to work great for blues and funk nonetheless.Even though it's the only thing I changed so far on that bass the tone control took a new life.Installation requieres you to know how to solder, it's just two cables and instructions with diagrams are provided. Then it's just a matter of set-up the height of the pickups, I found this ones are more "hot" than the original ones so I have them a little lower than I used to.All in all a great upgrade for not a lot of money.

Don't take seriously reviews from the internet
It took me some time to tame the quite extreme booming that came out of the p.u. ! But once I did, I'm very happy with my choice.I have an Epiphone EB1 medium scale (32") that had to be modified...I replaced the three point bridge w. a Hipshot super bridge, carved a place to install the Q.P. in a precision position, replaced the wiring and hocus pocus! This is practically a new bass w. the sound that I expected, clear sound "fat and creamy" cuts through without exesive volume...I'm very happy and so are my jam session band mates.

Solid pickups
Fat tone, beautifully articulate, good amount of gain. More mids and bass than the old BassLines i had on there.

THump!
These are great pickups. Clear, powerful, toneful. Replaced my stock Ibanez EX P/J pickups with these, and the difference is very apparent. More volume, but also more range of tone, not to mention fixing a microphonic issue with the old pups. I'm still fiddling with the setup, but really happy already.Mine came kinda beat up, the clamshells were beat and the pickup covers were scratched. I wouldn't have installed them on a customer's bass, because they didn't look new. However, Amazon was kind enough to give me a discount because of the damage, and as a result, I'm happy. The discount was big enough to cover the fact that when I touched the pups for the first time, the wire connecting the two neck pickups broke at the solder joint. After re-flowing all the joints, I installed with no further issues. I guess these just sat around getting beat up in the box for a while before they got to me.Oddly, the included screws did not work because the heads were too large and they interfered with the covers. The foam was also useless, but whatever. These are great pickups, sound great, look beefy. I like how the pole pieces are the same size as the fret marker dots, too...Mine don't say "BASSLINES", they say "Seymour Duncan", if you care about that.Overall, really happy.

Purrfect!
I just bought a Fender player 2 jazz guitar upgrading from a Squier Precision bass i got on Amazon last year. I didn't want this one collecting dust so I got these SPB3s and replaced the stock ones. Wow, the sound and volume improved where I can use both feeling good about these pickups. Definitely recommend!

Well Worth It
I have a Squire Fender P Bass and had trouble with the stock pickups. The stock pickups did sound ok, but could not get any real volume on it unless totally cranked up and still was not enough. I have tried "plug in tuners" and they had a hard time hearing the stock pickup. I replaced these with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders (both the P and Bridge Pickups) and the sound is incredible. I use to have too crank the volume on my guitar and then use my overdrive petal just to get a descent sound out of my bass. With my new replacement(s) it really changed my bass on how it sounds. I can now use the volume knobs on my bass instead of leaving them crank to shape my sound. If you are looking to replace your pickup(s), these are really worth it. Also these are made right here in USA (California). The stock China pickups just really don't "cut it". The installation was really easy too. The new pickups wiring is the same color as the stock ones so you can't wiring it in backwards by mistake. You just need a little bit of soldering skill which most of use could easily do anyway.
