What are the thread size on the air exit

It is 1/8" BSP. This is the size many air brush brands use. Paasche uses 1/4" NPT. If you want to use this with a Paasche air brush you'll need a 1/8" Female BSP - 1/4" Male NPT Adaptor. They can be found on Amazon too and run well under $10.

Hi just got this and it never turns off. cannot find a leak. testing it at 20 psi-should i return it? tape it? help.

It should turn off after it builds pressure. If it doesn’t, I would suspect a leak somewhere.

Just got my new one. I placed the unit on a quartz counter top with nothing connected to it and turned it on. Using a sound meter app on my cell phone, I measured just over 50dB from a distance of 1 foot while it was running. That's low enough to have a standard conversation with no interference at all, much as a new beard trimmer. I compared that with a 45 year old compressor of half the size. It measured 74dB as it literally danced around the countertop, and it was deafening. That one now resides in the bottom of my garbage can...
