Excellent product that every mini painter should have. It keeps your paints wet for longer, saving you paint. I couldn't paint without it.

Having read the reviews for this product I think there are a few things that need to be covered. First, the intention of a wet palette like this is NOT to keep your paints fresh indefinitely. It is meant to give you the proper thinning of your paints as you apply them. It can also provide you a perfect area for dynamic color mixing. It will allow you to keep your custom mixes for a period of time with proper storage and care.The size is perfect, the included sponge and parchment paper work well to provide properly thinned paints and to preserve those paints over an extended painting session. If you are using the right paint it will keep them wet and workable for several days......IF you store it properly (lid held on with the elastic band in a cool place).Storing in my house, which I keep at 68 degrees the palette has retained moisture for 4+ days (by then my paints had separated but the palette was still good to go).The brush storage area is a nice bonus and works well with army painter brushes and has an area for normal round handle brushes as well. All in all it's a good package, yes you can accomplish the same thing with some parchment paper, paper towels, and any plastic container, but this is a neat clean package that stores well. It's worth the money to me.Ignore the people complaining about the sponge being folded in half for shipping. it has zero impact and you won't even notice it once you wet the sponge for use. Chalk it up to one of those things people complain about for no real reason.Pros:It does the job wellHas brush storage built inSolid construction that fits together wellIncludes two sponges and a lots of parchment paper (enough supplies for a LONG time)Will retain water and save paints overnight for several nights (though there are better wet palettes for 2x the price that can do it better)This is a sweet spot in value for the dollarCons:You can DIY something that will work every bit as well as this for less than 5 dollarsIt would not have been hard for them to add a rubber o-ring to the lid which would allow it to keep even more moisture for longer periods of timeThough it will stay wet for several days, most paints will suffer pigment separation after a few hours (blame the paint not the palette for that)

If your going to use Vallejo Army paint Citadel or any water base acrylic paints. This is a good tool for you, mixing colors or just getting the paint to the consistency your looking for you want it

I was using a plastic sandwich box, wet paper towel, and parchment paper previously. It worked great and keep my paints wet for an extended period of time. So why the upgrade? I guess I just wanted something that was a bit neater on my table.Things I like about this is it looks great. Very clean and sleek looking. I love the paint brush holders inside. The foam retains water pretty well though I think I should have gotten a bit more wet. It is not as air tight as my sandwich box even with elastic band. It does the job though. It’s a great palette to have, but if you want to save money for more paints just use what I was using previously.

This is the first wet palette I have ever purchased and I love this product. I have been using army painter paints for a while and noticed I was throwing away paint after each painting session. I live in a very dry area and my paints dry fast. Both on my projects and on my palette. Thanks to this product I can start painting one day and continue the next. This has already saved me money as I no longer throw away paints after each session. They included a generous amount of sheets and 2 hydro foams to start you on your painting.I love that I have a space for my favorite brushes and a band to keep it together. The only thing I wish The Army Painter would have added to this product is a watertight seal. Perhaps they will add this in an updated version of this product.

This is worth every penny. It does exactly as advertised, and keeps paint wet for a long time. Comes with two sponges and 50 sheets. Great purchase, would recommend.
