Best brush cutting blade out there.
Wow!!!! this blade is lite and does the job great. Well worth the value when compared to the regular brush blades. The regular brush blade just cut things down, this one cuts and mulches it to pieces. Tears up dried up brush easily and great at cutting those low hanging branches then you just mulch them up. Fit my Stihl 56 weed eater perfect and does put off much torque when it's at full RPMs not like the brush disc blades do.

great for heavier brush
This thing is fantastic for attempting to manage blackberry and other weed/bramble areas. This was recommended to me by a state forestry department fire fighter. It is extremely durable and heavy weight. The only drawback i've found is that it gets into the weed and soil so well that it often creates sparks when hitting rocks, which is an issue during fire season.

Don't waste your money on the knock off versions
The Oregon blade in the picture has about 20 hours on it. The other blade had less than an hour.I use these blades for clearing heavy brush around my property on a Stihl FS131. This is by far my favorite blade for taking down walls of brambles and other thorn bushes. It also makes easy work of saplings and small trees. I know you're not supposed to use it on small trees, but this blade will take down soft wood trees that are 4-6 inches thick with several good whacks.Since I beat on these pretty good, they do eventually bend and warp, especially if they get wedged into a hidden stump or something like that. The tips of the edges will bend out a little, and eventually, it will get too bent to be useful or get so unbalanced that it vibrates too much. However, that usually takes many days of abuse to get to that point with the Oregon blade. To save some money (since the price of these seem to range from $30-$45 depending on the day), I thought I'd try a knock off version which had all of the same specs (but was 3 ounces lighter). Well, I got less than an hour out of the cheap blade before it bent in a way I've never even seen before.Anyway, I can tell you from experience that the metal on the Oregon blades is better than the knock off versions and worth the extra cost. You can feel a difference in the weight, even if they are the exact same size otherwise. The Oregon is heavier and much stronger metal. On a side note, the Oregon 3 blade mulcher is pretty good, too, but it's really heavy. If you are "sweeping the ground" all day, and you have your harness setup right, it's great. However, if you're going to be lifting the head up over and over, chopping at bushes, it get's really heavy, really quickly. So you're better off with this two blade setup in my opinion.

It's a beast!
This thing is the bomb! It's like having a tractor brush hog on your arm. It devours anything up to about an inch and a half. I've ripped through vines and prickers so thick you couldn't see a foot into. You can take down brush all the way to the root. A second pass on the ground mulches everything up nicely too. Highly recommend. TIP: wear shin and face protection.

Works great!
Love this blade! Makes short work of brush and small trees. Would buy again!

Great product, but if you are seriously mulching will only last a month
Love the product, but it wears out quickly… I ordered the three prong next time.

Turns Stands of Blackberry Vines into Mulch -- Amazing to see
You just drop blade on top of blackberries. It eats its way down, and you are left with mulch, pieces generally on a few inches long. No more long vine sinews to trip over. You need a beefy machine to run it - I use a Stihl 131R.

The best upgrade for your bush whacker
I got a new Stihl weedwhacker designed to use the blades, and the blade that came with it would cut through the weeds easily enough, but then I had to stop and move the weeds, pick it up start it and go again. With this blade it deletes everything in its way. Start at the top and work your way down and the weed is turned to mulch. So much faster and easier to use than the standard blade. Highly recommended if you have a lot of weeds to get through.
