The Lion Handbook to the Bible (Lion Handbooks) Paperback – September 18, 2009

This is well written and beautifully laid out with interesting pictures. I like the variety of authors. It would have been good to have more analysis of biblical text, and less history and context at the front (some of which was very academic and unlikely to be accessible to ordinary Bible readers) but that's a minor quibble -overall a great product.
