The adhesive backing made installation simple, and it fit my standard door without trimming. It blocks light and most drafts effectively, which is great for keeping the room cooler/warmer. On the downside, the strip is a bit stiff at first and makes the door harder to shut until it softens. Make sure to let it sit as long as it says before opening the door. Works best on smooth areas, less so on uneven ones. Good budget-friendly option for energy savings.

I was surprised by how strong it held even after removing it a couple times to make sure it didn’t drag over our uneven patio surface. Been on a week with zero lift or issues and we use that door all day long. I have a strip on both sides of the door. The excess I cut I actually used to block a hole where the wall met the door to hopefully keep as many bugs out as possible. It’s summer so I didn’t have to use a blow dryer to help adhere the strip. We have this on the front and back of a screen door off our screened porch.

It was easy to assemble. Love the color since it matches the door color. Thickness is perfect. It does reduce noise and air leakage.

Very well designed product with so many add ons! I was pleasantly surprised that this came with so many tools to make sure the door guard is SECURELY stuck onto the door. They provide an adhesive and special tape to make sure the installation is successful.The seal is very strong, and the instructions are very clear. There is noticeable noise reduction from the product and the size is perfect! They give enough to ensure it fits YOUR door and I had to trim it down to my door size.

I purchased this door guard for my outside fence gate. I have a cat that tries to escape under it. I was skeptical about it but decided to give it a try. The instructions were easy. I applied the primer peeled back the tape and placed it along the bottom of my gate. It stayed in place and is not moving. I thought I would have to nail it in the fence but no go. The adhesive in it is very powerful. It covers the area nicely and no more Ms Kitty escaping to see what’s on the other side of the fence.

Overall, I believe the product was designed to effectively block drafts and prevent bugs from entering my home through the door. Unfortunately, I encountered issues with its adhesive, as it did not stick well to the surface and fell off shortly after application.On a positive note, the quality of the material is impressive; it has a nice thickness that I find desirable. The white color of the product matches my door's finish perfectly, allowing it to blend in seamlessly. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to cut the product to my desired length, making customization a breeze. Despite the sticking issue, I appreciate the other features it offers.

Clear directions, easy to apply, and works well!

Excellent and easy to install. We removed all carpeting a few yrs ago. Unfortunately, ea door was cut in length to move easily across the plush carpeting. Left us with a big gap at the bottom or better a door which was now too short. The strips block out light under the gab and were easy to install. The doors now look as if they have a molding there we will now install tje same on the other side of ea door
