Great for blankets
Great for making sherpa or fur blankets soft again after wash. I imagine it'll work well for fur hoods as well. It did a good job of removing lose hair fibers and the quality is good, even if it's extra spikey. Overall, affordable solution and good looking brush to rejuvenate faux fur

Teddy bear looks new again!
I've kept a bear that my boyfriend gifted me when my grandmother passed for quite a while and he was looking raggedy - until I tried this brush! I haven't seen the bear this fluffy since the day it emerged from the gift bag. Awesome product!

Good for pets too
Well, I bought this for my sheepskin, but I have a Berndoodle and it has gone through his fur amazingly. It doesn’t pull or hurt him as he laid there the entire time I was doing it. Really great brush.

Works as described
I love faux fur, but hate when it gets all matted. I bought this in attempt to renew several pillows and my sons faux fur rug. My cheweenie’s bed, also faux fur, was in the worst shape. After washing it, it only got more matted. It only took about ten minutes to get it looking much better. The center that was the worst didn’t go back to looking brand new but it definitely fluffed back up. The sides ended up looking brand new and returning to their soft texture. See photos of before and after. I recommend if you too are a lover of faux fur.I have not and would not use it on my pets (cat and dogs). The tines are too sharp and would likely scratch or cut the skin.

Smooths Blankets
Used this on some blankets that had been washed so they’d be smooth and soft again. Works super good!

Durable and Effective
I bought this to complement my smaller cheaper slicker brush. This brush is very sturdy, and the bristles are extremely firm.Pros:This brush is large and sturdy, so it is easily able to brush through large amounts of thick wools like sheep and llama. So far, this brush has stood up to some aggressive use and left my wools nice and fluffy. It's also a good size for cats.Cons:I believe that this brush is overpriced, but without a decent quality comparison, I'm unable to say if this price tag is to be expected. The bristles are very firm, which is a con for delicate fibers like huacaya alpaca. While it can brush through it, you have to take much greater care not to tear the fibers. As with any brushing, the brush will also remove some amount of wool, so it might be too aggressive on a thinner wool product. The last con is that this is too big to fit into sheepskin boots like Uggs, so it will not work for that purpose.Overall, this brush is a great addition to a wool brushing kit, but it won't work for smaller/more delicate projects.

Revived our fancy, dyed sheepskin rugs
Where have these been all my life? We purchased a couple of beautiful, charcoal-gray (dyed) sheepskin rugs for both sides of our bed. It used to feel really nice to get out of bed and set your feet onto them. But after many years and a couple of dogs, now my reaction to putting my feet down is, "Ew. What the heck did I just step on?"Because of the dye, we can't just wash them or get them too wet. And I'm kind of lazy and forgetful. (Meaning, I've been thinking of taking them to a dry cleaner for years—but how much will that cost?) But after our puppy had an accident (the worst kind of accident) on one, I knew I had to do something. These rugs weren't cheap, so tossing them wasn't an option.I cleaned up the "accident" as best I could, but that left the spot feeling kind of dry and crunchy. And honestly, did I even get everything out? So after reading and googling, I decided to try one of these wire wool brushes. HALLELUJAH! It took some muscle to thoroughly brush each rug, but wow, not only did it re-fluff and revive the wool, it pulled up a lot of loose dirt and anything that was stuck to the fibers. I did have to keep cleaning off the brush (from all the fibers and dirt that accumulated), but that's super easy. No different than my own hair brush.I really wish I had gotten this brush sooner!

Flimsy design
Broke during the 2nd use. I use the word use loosely because it was just lightly tested with 2 brushes the first use and this second go around it was maybe 5 strokes in before it broke. Not even a thick rug or anything.
