Durable with large spray pattern!
We love Gardena products for the lawn and were thrilled to find this. It has a large sprinkling pattern. It is so easy to adjust, doesn't leak and the price was very reasonable. I am sure, like all the Gardena products we have had, that this also will last for many years to come. We live in Oklahoma, so it gets used a LOT!

I need to up my water pressure
The sprinkler looks, works and is built great -- I like that the oscillating barrel part is straight across and supported with two Stainless rods that run end to end -- there is only a quick connect option (included) I don't believe that you can just screw your hose on to it -- the ones I had years ago were in an arch -- this is supposed to cover 55' max width -- with my water pressure ( 50 PSI) it only covers 35' width (I need 50') and 25' from center to reversing which is perfect for my small yard -- this has everything I would engineer into it -- the tube moves quickly -- not quite enough time to run in and change a setting without getting wet -- I have it placed in front of my shrubs at the front of my house pointed to the street -- neither line is straight so some compromising happened -- I buried these in some 2"~3" River Rock with just the top peaking out making sure none of the rocks could touch the barrel -- it runs smoothly and quietly -- I had two round sprinklers that could be adjusted to hit odd angles (they had 15 separate adjustments and are not available anymore) -- they worked great mechanically but did not water evenly -- I got tired of trying to use round sprinklers to water a rectangular area -- originally I was trying to avoid this type of sprinkler that shoots water in the air and gets blown by the wind but now I believe that if I water early there isn't as much wind -- I have two, one in front and one in the back that are on a timer set to water at 5:30 AM -- the color blends into the shrubs and stones and can't be seen from the street -- I am really happy with this setup and hope that I have shared an idea that you haven't thought of -- no fusing with pop ups or broken pipes -- for under $175.00 all in I have a permanent above ground system that is worry free (no issues with the lawn mower) and maintenance free -- they can't be easily seen -- no one would suspect that this type of sprinkler would be hidden this way -- I wanted the larger one that isn't currently available but maybe I can get the coverage I need by increasing my water pressure

Not a bad sprinkler...so far
Reviewing this after a few days of use. I've owned several Gardena sprinklers over the years that have lasted 2-4 seasons. None of these plastic sprinklers are built to last more than a few seasons of regular use and being stored outdoors. The most I ever got from a sprinkler was 5 seasons. This sprinkler is built a little differently than the previous one of this type I owned a few years ago. The controls are smoother and easier to use and seem a little higher quality. Time will tell. This unit has more control than others in that you can easily control the width of the spray and the water flow rate (= distance water throws) and the side to side dispersion. The controls are smooth and easy to use.At full open the coverage area seems pretty good but it's nowhere near the 3800 sq ft Gardena claims. My home water pressure is 40psi, so maybe at a higher water pressure it would come closer. I haven't used cups on the ground to measure but the water coverage seems pretty even. It sits solidly on the ground, even in taller grass. Not likely to tip over. All in all, not a bad sprinkler so far. I'll update this review when I have more to say about its longevity. At $70 it's 2-3x the price of other plastic sprinklers, but it has the ability to control the spray width that others lack, so you can use it in narrow applications.

Beast Mode for a Sprinkler system.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:WORKHORSE of a Sprinkler!! Gets the job done faster. We have 3/4 an acre and this sprinkler throws better water droplets, and covers the full area of the sprinkler head. Love the quick connects, no water leakage. MUST BUY, you will have no regrets!!

Good product!
I love these sprinklers. The price is a bit high for what it is, all plastic. But the price fluctuates so keep watching for a lower price! Very adjustable for whatever area you need. The large one covers a huge area! I have 4 of these.

Disappointing Quality, Not Worth the Price
Just two months after the two-year warranty expired, the sprinkler stopped fanning the yard. I expected better durability at this price, but it failed just like the cheap ACE Hardware models that cost less than half as much. Our water is perfectly normal, filter never dirty, and I always stored the sprinkler properly. I kept it out of the sun and put it away when not in use. Despite that, it still died after just two seasons. Very frustrating! Save your money.

You're mileage may vary.
I have a well that puts out 5 gallons per minute and this sprinkler only covers an area 27 feet long and 24 feet wide (648 square feet)I would love to see the water system that puts out enough flow and pressure to shoot this the advertised 3,800 square feet.
