A really useful and helpful tool which I would not be without as both my wife and I in our mid 80's have loss of grip and some arthritis in our hands. It makes bottle tops, jars etc. so easy to open. Just brilliant for those of us that need a little help because of arthritis in our hands or don’t want to struggle opening jars. Works perfectly and so easy to place on jar, would thoroughly recommend. Great price too.

This gadget really makes opening jars much easier for me but the largest jar it will open is the size of a small jar of beetroot, which isn't so bad as I get through a lot of those, but looks like I need a different on for larger jars.

My grip strength is usually fairly good. My wife bought a large jar of pickled gherkins and couldn't move the lid no matter how hard i tried. Frustrated and slightly embarrased my grip had failed me I ordered this jar opener. Received the item today and used on the widest setting. Opened jar no problem. Very useful item to have around the house. Highly recommended.
