Great Brio starter set
Has bridges and inclines that challenge young train builders. Expensive but will last to the next generation.

durable lifelong toy to pass down thru generations
I passed my grown son's Brio collection down to my grandchildren and they love it. It never wears out, and creates hours of fun and creative play for my 2 and 4 year old grandkids. They love it so much their parents had to buy some for them to play with when they aren't at gramma's house. Not inexpensive but worth it!

Great Add On Track
I am a big fan of the Brio track versus others. Pieces hold up great to abuse from toddlers and fit together perfect. I tend to only buy Brio track anymore. They work well with other brands such as Thomas and IKEA as well.

Great Addition to Train Tracks
Family recently bought my toddler a BRIO train set but it didn't come with many pieces. This addition was perfect to add to our selection and have additional track options.Pros:- Solid Wood- Everything fits together well- You know that the tracks will line up with other BRIO parts.Cons:None!!This was an excellent purchase and we have been getting so much use out of it. Adding this track has opened us up to many different track options and we change it frequently. I love seeing what they want to create and then figuring out with the pieces how to make it happen. Would definitely recommend!!This would also be a great wish list item to have for family members who don't know what to purchase!

Our little guy, age 2. 5, plays ...
Our little guy, age 2.5, plays with Brio every day. We were running out of basic pieces. I usually buy them at the used toy shop for $1/piece but saw that this set was nearly that inexpensive and picked it up. Well, the pieces are a little rough/could use some sanding. And some of the longer straight pieces don't have tracks on both sides (one side is flat), so I'm wondering if these are even real Brio or fakes. If you made me guess, I might say fakes. I don't think this meets the quality we find when either Grandma buys the real stuff from the toy store or I rummage through to find the gently used real stuff. Bottom line though, our child doesn't care! He can make a larger track, which is what matters to him.

You need this
When/if you are putting together a wooden train set, you need odd pieces, you know, male/male & female/female and odd sizes. The kits typically don't contain this odd sizes and trust me, you will likely need more than what is in this kit. But this is a great place to start. The Brio wood pieces are just so nice.

Ideal
This track is well made as expected from Brio who have an excellent range of products. It is so expensive though when you order several pieces to create the railway system
