Kingdom of Ash - Target Exclusive (Throne of Glass, 7) Hardcover – October 23, 2018

This is the last book of an overall amazing series. I really loved the main storyline of the main character Aelin. The peripheral characters were also interesting…her main love relationship was interesting and captivating. What was difficult for me was how the author took the side stories and wrote about them almost too much. I found I would get frustrated with how many chapters would get devoted to the side characters. I wished to stay with Aeling and Rowan (once he entered the picture) throughout the journey. If you love this author you will no doubt love this series. She created an fascinating world that was riveting for the main character. I just wanted to be only there. Perhaps I need more patience with how the entire story unfolded?

I mean the series is for junior high kids so you give it some some slack, but I couldn't finish reading this book. You will go back and forth between "that's convenient" to "that's just straight bull...."
