Inside the box are little boxes with 4 batteries in each. Some are AAA & some are AA. Handy and organized. Easy to locate in the pantry rather than a junk drawer. Amazing because you can.grab a little box or two for road trips or camping. The batteries are high quality and last a long time. Great value for the price. I use less expensive batteries for things like battery operated village pieces at Christmas, or for glass icons that I get from QVC. These I save for appliances like my toothbrush or my husbands shaver. They work great a last a lot longer than the cheaper brands. I can also keep them in my lanterns that we have for power outages, and they don't seem to die as fast as the cheaper brands when stored for a while with no usage. I use them in my smoke alarms also, most important items in my home that use batteries.

These batteries are the best value for your money. Not as cheap as Amazon basic but last longer and have a good shelf life.

I noticed that batteries don’t last as long as they used to. Yeah you get a lot of batteries but they drain faster than I remember

First off, I will point out that Energizer batteries always get five stars from me because of the long lasting performance in all my battery powered devices.The downside of buying them from the store is that they cost WAY MORE than buying in bulk & that is where this deal gets big Kudos from me because I have lots of battery driven devices in my home & just when I least expect it, I am running to the battery drawer to get however many that I may need & that's why this is a good deal because you never know when you may need to change a battery in your mini flashlight or that RC video gaming controller, the TV remote, ect....Granted, its the middle of summer as I write this but for parents with kids, having a bulk package of batteries like this means no fumbling at Christmas time to find those batteries that you forgot to pick up for that toy that explicitly says right on the box "Batteries not included" So, in a way, even though I don't have kids, long term, I have saved myself from having to scramble for batteries later on.
