I actually purchased two sets of these, one for my mother-in-law and for my wife. They are very nice sets and I believe they will last for some time.

Chinese version I needed American version very good quality

This is a beautiful set, but don't try lifting it by the handle of the case - everything will fall out. If you place a hand under it and one on top, it's fine.

It's a great full size set

Product was very well packaged (see pictures). Each layer of tiles was wrapped in plastic, the dice were in a plastic bag, and the whole case was snugly encased in foam.Looking at the tiles, they are medium sized and relatively light. The characters are engraved and the paint is nice and bright. However, quality control could be improved as there was a tile (see the 9 bamboo picture) that had some chipped paint (left tile was damaged, right tile is intact). There was also a few tiles with some green paint on the side (see picture).The case is a little flimsy, but for the price point, it is fine. I wouldn’t use the handle regularly and will be carrying this carefully via the back anyway.Instructions are clear and easy to read.Would have liked a way to obtain some more blank tiles included in the set too.That all said, this is a very reasonably priced entry level set and even with some of the issues mentioned above, it is a good product. You could always spend more to get higher quality sets, but for $50-$60, you can’t go wrong with this set.

The quality of the Mahjong tiles is very good. The dice are okay, and the case is shoddy. It's a heavy carry. It's definitely worth its price
