Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ Bluetooth OBD II Scanner Car EOBD Engine Code Reader Auto Wireless Diagnostic Scan Tool for iOS & Android

I want to start by confirming that this OBD does work with the app provided in the instructions included in the box. I was able to successfully diagnose my car using it. However, for peace of mind, I also wanted to use BIMMERCODE or BIMMERLINK for diagnosis. After some research, I found that while VEEPEAK is compatible with these apps, it doesn't work with my specific model, a BMW E87 from 2006. It seems that models from 2007/2008 and above would be, although not able to confirm if they would work on BIMMERCODE/BIMMERLINK.The OBD came well-packaged, with clear instructions on how to pair it via Bluetooth. The app quickly scanned my car and identified any errors. I ended up returning the item since I no longer needed it and decided to purchase a slightly more expensive OBD in the hopes that it would be compatible.To clarify, if you're planning to use this OBD with a 2006 BMW E87 for BIMMERCODE or BIMMERLINK, it won’t work.ALSO, I also couldn't connect it to PROTOOLS by BIMMERGEEKS, though that may have been an issue on my end. Both BIMMERCODE and BIMMERLINK confirmed it wasn't compatible with my car.

Love it! Works with Bimmer code and link. I've adapted / coded loads of stuff into my 4 series, used it with a few OBD tools on both android and Apple iPhone and iPad. Cracking little reader for the glovebox.

This is great! I simply plugged this device into my Ford Galaxy's port (the port is in the hatch to the right of the steering wheel on a British RHD Galaxy), started up the Car Scanner app I had installed on my iPhone, connected in the app, waited about 30 seconds for the data to load, and now I have a huge amount of info, including fault codes and real-time revs etc.The device is simple to use, and getting the results on your phone makes it clear, informative and easy to use. The bluetooth connection is easy to connect, because you don't use the usual bluetooth connection method, you simply choose it in the app (it uses low-energy bluetooth which connects easily, rather than standard bluetooth like wireless headphones etc use, which can be a hassle to connect).The device comes with no app, you can choose whichever app you want from the App Store. I chose Car Scanner ELM OBD2. This works really well. The free version does most things, but since I was so happy with it I purchased the pro version for £6.99. Combining the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ Bluetooth OBD II Scanner with a £6.99 app makes for a really cost-effective way to see your cars faults and lots of other information.I'm impressed: this is easy, useful and affordable.
