Wow product
So glad I found this rice. I had no idea of the difference in taste from other "good" brands of rice. This rice is super good; sticky; premeasured for my rice cooker; makes great leftovers, etc. I kept ordering more & more, and then ordered some for a friend & had it shipped directly to her for her birthday. She too was in awe in the taste. I loaded up while it was on sale, because even at the sale price this rice is pricy, I guess because of the quality & that it comes all the way from Japan.

Great Rice
I tried this for sushi, and it worked out great. The rice was sticky, like it should be, but not too sticky. It was also easy to prepare; I just rinsed it a little bit. I will definitely be buying this again.

Expiration date
The bag of rice I received said it was milled on March 29, 2021 and best used by March, 29, 2022. I know many foods are safe to use past their expiration, but they usually do not taste the same. I won’t use this much rice before the end of this month. Why was I given rice that is getting ready to expire?

quality
Wonderful rice - cooks perfectly in my Panda rice cooker. It is so much better than the cheap rice you buy in the store.

Good
I bought it without expecting it because it was on sale, but it was delicious.

Good but expensive
I found it tasty but to my untrained Western palate, it was similar to the regular medium-grain rice I've been using. Not worth the steep price for me.
