Blendtec Replacement Soft Rubber Lid

The last lid I had the plastic piece broke so I got this one that didn't have that extra piece. This fits and so the lid works well. When you put it on, be careful that it is tucked into the jar all the way around. When you do that it doesn't leak.

Easy to snap on and take off. Remember to clean every use to prevent mode.

Purchased this as a replacement lid for my current blender. It fit perfectly and it was very inexpensive. Love the value.

This lid fits very well to the Blentec jar, however, if you are making smoothies it will leak substantially every time. Does not matter if you hold your hand on top of it to ensure it does not pop of, it’ll still leak like crazy. Someone else commented that it appears to be internal pressure build up that cause the leak, which I would agree is likely.

needs longer sides and a heavery material.

We runined our original blendtec lid, didn't want to spend alot on buying one from the manufacturer. We found this one and it fit perfect and works great.

This is far better than the original top, I like this way better. It really covers the pitcher and secures it with a tight fit!

The media could not be loaded. It probably would not leak out the sides if you cut a small hole in the top and covered with something but that requires you modifying the lid and potentially ruining it.If you hold you hand over the lid it should be okay but it also might explode or the sides. It's supposed to work as designed and it doesn't.
