Pigs in the Parlor: A Practical Guide to Deliverance Paperback – August 1, 1990

I got this book and finished reading it in 5 days. Wow…what an amazing book…other than the Bible, it is perhaps the best and most helpful book I’ve ever read! If you haven’t read it, I would encourage you do so (I would highly recommend anyone involved in the delivery ministry, including Freedom, to read it)! After 3 years of being involved in Freedom and deliverance, this book explained in detail into some of finer points of deliverance and helped me to understand some of the practical technics I’ve witnessed prayer warriors use over those 3 years (everything from singing in the Spirit to telling the person not to pray or worship while demons are being cast out! I especially liked how the authors identify and group the demons, as well as, Ida Mae’s explanation and process for handling schizophrenia which is more common than I realized! From beginning to end, I could not set this book down!

Good spiritual read

My Mom had this book in the early 80s. I wished I had read it then. I am about 1/2 way through and keep looking ahead to see what else is coming. It is so good I can't read fast enough. And I am highlighting the daylights out of it.If you are interested in this subject, this is a great place to start to fully understand. I have since bought two more books that are waiting to be read by the same author. I'm looking ahead into those as well. I have planned the purchase of about 6 more books by this author.

Good read, very informative!

This book is a great read. When it helps you it's a difficult read but totally worth it for a better walk with Christ and in helping others.

I’m sad to know that this book existed at a time when I could have benefited from reading it. Today’s Christianity is void of truly understanding the spiritual nature of our existence. This book focuses more on sharing testimony than on creating a “how to” and that is what makes it stand out. Jesus never gave seminars on technique, He just applied John 14-17 and He listened and did what the Father told Him to do via His Holy Spirit connection to the Father.

It's an excellent book for better understanding from spirits not from God. May testimonies and explanations, Christians should read it.
