Soak Wash - Lacey 12oz

After a little research I got this to wash the thigh high compression hosiery/torture devices I have to wear for a while. Ihave to wash them every day. Soak comes in many scents, but I always use scentless so that's what I got. First time, I read the directions, which said to use one gallon of water with one teaspoon (one TEASPOON? yes!) of Soak wash, then to add the things to be washed, soak for 15 minutes, and that's it. No rinse necessary. I squeezed them gently and put on a sweater dryer - clean and dry in the morning. Then I got a dog harness one of my dogs had on for a procedure at the vet. I was covered with blood when I picked her up, because they put it on her before she came to. Good idea; she's a wiggle worm. The harness had been in the laundry room basket for three weeks. I had forgotten about it. So I put a gallon of water and a teaspoon of Soak in the sink, put in the harness blood side down, 15 minutes later absolutely no sign of blood in the water or on the harness. It was like magic - highly effective - and I heartily recommend Soak! Also can be used in a washing machine.

This had become an HG product for me for washing my natural fiber clothes. So easy and so gentle on silks, wool, and cashmere - plus the yuzu scent is so fresh and lovely! You only need a teaspoon per sweater, so a bottle lasts a long time too. Keep your sweaters nicer with a simple soak!

I was very happy with this! I wanted a gentle and natural soap for my hand washables. This smells great and works great! Makes hand washing so easy.

I absolutely love this product. Celebration scent. I bought this product because the New York Times recommends it for hand washing clothes that require dry cleaning. I’ve soaked 12 pairs of wool dress pants (from suits) with no color loss, no stretching, no wrinkling. The soaking water becomes darker with dirt, oils, while the clothes are left with a clean scent.Today I decided to try SOAKing a canvas messenger bag and a backpack. Great results. Bags look new. Then I tried using it for a 20-yr-old Burberry coated canvas messenger bag. Wow. Shine is restored and SOAK did not damage the leather trim.

It’s wool soap—does what it says on the bottle. But let me tell you, it smells lovely while it’s doing its thing. Soaking my knit projects feels like a tiny spa day for sweaters.The only bummer? That scent basically ghosts you once everything’s dry. Poof. Gone. Like it was never there. A bit of a letdown, especially when you’re sniffing your finished work like a weirdo hoping for that cozy lavender (or whatever) to linger.BUT! The cleaning power is fantastic, it blocks beautifully, and it leaves your woolies soft, squishy, and ready for compliments. So while the scent fades, the results definitely don’t.

I purchased this to handwash bras. I had a white bra with some gross sweat stains that I tested it on first, before using it on my "good bras." It made the dingy white bra fresh and clean, while removing any staining. I was in shock at how well it cleaned. Each wash only requires a small amount of laundry soap, so this product is a good value, as it should last a while. I will be using this for all of my hand washing from here forward. The scent is pleasant and not too strong.

Just purchased Soak wash no fragrance. So far I washed 4 items, following the direction. 2 cashmere sweaters and a dress came out great. I also washed a white shirt with a tiny stain without pre treating following the direction. The stain didn't get cleaned. If I soaked longer (I only soaked for 30 minutes) or pre treated with stain remover etc. it may get cleaned?, not sure yet. Will try next time.No rinsing saved time comparing to using other detergent. I also like that the hands don't get soapy when washing or taking the garments out after soaking.Overall it is much easier to do hand washing with Soak.

Overall a solid washing detergent. Decided to start hand washing some clothes and this has worked great for general cleaning. Nice and pleasant smell.The bottle comes taped in a separate plastic bag which is good because there was some leakage. They should really tape down the cap though because it’s the type where you press down on one end and the other side pops up a little. Very easy to have it open during shipping.Aside from that, I would probably buy this again.
