THERMOSCAN HYGIENE CAP: EAR THERMOMETER COVER

It's great that these come in such a large refill quantity. With 2 small babies and a hard winter of colds, it's nice to keep these on hand. They fit on the Braun well and I've never had any trouble with them. On a side note, my 6 month old has terrible amounts of ear wax. When I use these covers, sometimes the infrared in the Braun gets clouded by the cover combined with his waxy ear. This filter cover is great for that, because when I place it in the ear once and remove it, a lot of times it will bring out some of the wax with it. I'll then either wipe it off or use a new one if needed, then take the termperature and it will be accurate.

We love our Braun thermometer that you stick in your ear. This item is the little filters that you put on the end each time it goes in your ear. In this time of virus threat, we use the thermometer a lot more than usual, so I ordered more filters than usual -- I got two 40 packs this time. They arrived today and we have been laughing hysterically because they were shipped all the way from Ireland! But they got here, they are exactly what we ordered and we are happy. Be sure you check the price per piece as you are choosing the best bargain. We wanted the Braun brand, and they were about 45 cents per filter per use. We soak ours in 50-50 vinegar and water for 15 minutes, then air dry, so that we can re-use them a couple of times, at that price. But a good product.

I have the Thermoscan 6500, and these work perfectly on it! I think they even fit better than the original ones that came with the thermometer. Packaging: My item was shipped right away, and I received prompt notification. The product that arrived has a part number of PC-20 and it says they are manufactured by Kaz Manufacturing under license by Braun. The boxes contain the Braun logo.I was concerned they were not correct because the last package I purchased (from Target -- where I bought the thermometer) had a part number of LF-20. But they fit my Braun 6022 Thermoscan thermometer correctly and seem fine.I believe the "-20" vs. "-40" that people mention in the comments is simply the quantity. 20 filters vs. 40 filters. This shipment included two boxes of "PC-20" for a total of 40 lens (probe) filters.Note that the picture for this product shows retail packaging with a picture of a baby on the package. What I received was just the two PC-20 boxes (like would be contained inside the retail packaging) wrapped in shrink wrap.

These are great replacements. If I am sick or someone in the house is we reuse the same one for that person to make these last longer. But for different people we toss out the old one and use a new one.Very happy with the Braun thermometer and these are cheap enough to buy.Keep in mind these aren't meant for children so when you toss them out please dispose of them properly so little kids don't swallow them.

If you have kids and the braun ear thermometer these are exactly what you need and you need a lot of them. What else is there to say, they are clear, round, disposable, fit nicely in the thermometer holder/base and come at a good price.

These work great. I tried some bulk cheap ones from another county thinking that I was saving money, and the difference was very noticeable.They were very thin and flemsey. I ordered these immediately. They are made in the USA.
