Written for doctors yet kept simple enough for those interested in self education.
I felt Dr. Seeds did a wonderful job sharing his knowledge for how the cell works, how the peptides work in the body, and then, most importantly, sharing information on how specific peptides work as well as grouping the peptides together by function. Obviously there was a true interest in sharing this knowledge, rather than just putting down information in a book. Dr. Seeds is extremely busy, and that he took the time and the time of his staff, to put together this very readable, detailed yet understandable book, and was able to explain medical functions of peptides in the body, as well information on dosage guidelines, since peptides are so new, having this information is clearly a need to help both guide and empower both doctors and patients. It is good to learn what is out there in the medical field in order to broaden our choices and peptides are a progression between holistic concepts of letting the body heal itself through nutritional food and clean living, the peptides are the next step, as peptides (in general) trigger the different internal mechanisms that are designed biologically to help the body function well and heal vs. medication that is designed to force a specific result. They all have their uses - peptides being relatively new and having strong safety profiles - are worth being aware of and learning about.

Good starter on peptide therapy
Some have said this book is above their level or too simplistic or no good because peptides are difficult to obtain. First, this is a basic primer on how peptides work and what various types of peptides can do. For some people who may be well versed, perhaps it is too simplistic for them. But this is meant to be more of an intro with a bit of medical background. Peptides are NOT readily available to buy, nor should they be without a scrip. While peptides may be naturally occurring strings of amino acids, they do create particular effects that should be overseen by a trained physician. Kudos to Dr. Seeds for making this easy to read book for those interested in finding adjunct therapies to address medical issues. It is definitely a worthwhile book for anyone dealing with medical issues or those just looking to improve their health as well as any physicians looking to learn an intro to peptides for their practices.

Dr. Seeds is the leader in Peptide Education and Therapy
As a medical provider who has been to many of Dr Seeds conferences, as well as certified in American Academy of Anti-Aging medicine (A4M) peptide courses, of which Dr Seeds spearheaded, I can confidently say he is a wealth of EVIDENCE BASED knowledge around peptide therapy and cellular regeneration. With 22 pages of medical studies to back the teachings in this book, and the fact I have used peptides successfully in my clinical practice for years based on Seeds protocols, it is hard to argue the teachings in this book are less than scientific. If you are looking for a succinct, easy to understand exploration of peptide therapy and its impact on health and dis-ease, this is a superb resource.

Footnotes would have been great
The book is great in that one has all sorts of opinions about what peptides are for.But footnotes would have backed up opinions with research.Amazon did not let me post the review when I asked about a specific page that warned about the dangers of a specific peptide. So, this time I am not mentioning the page number nor what it warned of nor my question about what research backs that up. Sigh.

Love this
This is the easiest beginner peptide book out there … I’ve purchased this three times for gifts. I highly recommend it. Very easy read for medical professionals and patients

Simple but vague
If you’re non medical and like simplistic, this book is for you. I am in the medical field so I was less than impressed with the lack of in-depth information.
